Ordecto is a cloud-based, browser-accessible workspace for checking, repairing, validating, and documenting PDF accessibility compliance. Designed for public sector organizations, education institutions, publishers, and regulated industries, it targets PDF/UA-1 with WCAG 2.2, EN 301 549, Section 508, and Matterhorn as referenced test models. AI auto-tagging produces a reviewable candidate with structure fixes, while automation handles qualified repair mechanics for tags and reading order. Human review remains required for reading order judgment, figure meaning, and complex tables, and all AI-generated repairs are validated against PDF/UA-1 using veraPDF before specialist sign-off. Files up to 250 MB and 50 pages are accepted, virus-scanned before processing, and deleted after 30 days.

Detection covers PDF tags, reading order, metadata, links, forms, tables, and OCR signals. Three result categories are kept strictly distinct: machine failures, human review items, and untested checks, preventing false pass results from skipped checks. The original PDF is stored as immutable bytes, and every repair writes a new candidate version. Regression checks compare page count, visible text, and rendered pixels to confirm design is preserved across repair iterations.
