4. Look at the match fields. Subject, sender and body are on by default. Turn on recipients, sent time or attachment names when you want only exact twins removed.

5. Use the Search in box first if you want to check a single sender or subject before the full run.

6. Pick the surviving copy for each group (first found, oldest or newest), set the output folder and click Start to remove duplicate emails from the selection.

The program never writes into the archive you opened. What you get is a fresh PST next to a CSV that lists each group with folder, subject, sender, date and the kept or removed status. If you switch on the backup option, the removed copies go to a second PST, so getting a message back is a matter of opening that file.
