Paradoxon Assistant is work order software for independent repair shops, built inside one. The person who writes it repairs appliances every week and uses the same build to charge for his own repairs, so the screens follow the counter, not a spreadsheet.

What it does

Intake takes a phone number first and formats it as you type; a returning customer is recognized on the spot, a new one is saved in a single confirmation. Each customer carries a classification — regular, reseller, caution, critical, or headquarters — that stays with the record and shows on the ticket.

Equipment is captured with make, model, color, serial number and a photo, and grouped by type: equipment, accessory, or tool. Repairs, labor and parts go on the order with their prices; the running total is always on screen.

The printed ticket carries the shop logo, the intake date, the warranty date, a barcode, a QR code and the order number, and a footer that counts each item by outcome: under warranty, repaired, not repaired, rework.

Open orders and full history are separate windows. Open orders shows what is live right now — received, on hold, in progress. History covers everything, with filters by date and status, and actions on the selected ticket: work it, preview it, attach photos, reprint, mark delivered, add to an order, send a delay notice, archive.

Parts and services are charged at the same counter. Parts and labor go onto the order, the payment is taken and the receipt prints, so a small sale does not need a second program. This is the checkout of a repair shop, not a retail register: it keeps stock for the parts you fit in repairs, but not a store inventory, and someone selling products off a shelf should look at something else.

The customer is kept informed by automatic SMS and email every time the order changes state, so nobody has to call the shop and ask.

Ask the shop with the AI assistant you already use

The assistant is yours: Paradoxon does not include one and does not sell one. What Assistant provides is the door. Paradoxon Server exposes a read-only interface so your assistant can ask, in plain language, what is open right now, what was finished last week, what this customer has brought in before, or which notifications went out and which failed. The shop answers from its own database, on your own machine.

It is built to be safe before it is clever. The interface only reads: an assistant can look and report, never write, cancel or change an order. It ships turned off, the owner switches it on from Settings, and it requires a token and a network you allow.

How it runs

Assistant installs on Windows and stores everything in a local database on that computer. It keeps working with no internet connection, which is what a counter needs on the day the line goes down. A second station runs the Technician Client against the same server, and the front desk can take in equipment from a browser on the shop network.

Licensing

A 14-day trial that counts days of actual use, not calendar days, and asks for no card. After that, an annual license or a one-time lifetime license. The license covers the shop, not each technician: adding technicians does not change the price. When an annual license expires the program does not stop — it keeps running with everything already in it, and only new versions stop arriving.
