PremiumGuardHQ overview

What is PremiumGuardHQ?

PremiumGuardHQ is an analytics and portfolio management platform designed for options traders employing wheel strategy, covered calls, and cash-secured puts as income mechanisms. It serves income-focused traders who rely on premium collection as a primary revenue source and supports standalone call and put buyers as well as multi-leg spread traders in equity and options markets. The platform integrates with major brokerage accounts including Charles Schwab, Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, Fidelity, and tastytrade. It automates the detection, classification, and analysis of every options cycle without requiring manual data entry or spreadsheet maintenance.

The core functionality begins with automatic cycle detection and reconciliation of complex options positions. The Wheel Tracker provides real-time visibility into open wheel positions by calculating adjusted cost basis after collected premiums to establish true breakeven levels for trade management. The system reconstructs complete trading cycles from raw broker fill data by identifying position rolls, assignments, expirations, and closures in sequence. Portfolio Analytics presents aggregated capital at risk across assigned stock, cash-secured puts, and long premium positions while calculating actual premium yield relative to capital employed. The Trade Journal maintains a detailed history of closed cycles with metrics such as days held, premium collected, equity profit or loss, net result, and annualized yield for each completed trade.

Loss Mitigation manages recovery chains when a wheel cycle closes at a loss by linking subsequent repurchase positions to their originating trades and computing a consolidated breakeven price that adjusts as further premiums are collected through covered calls on the recovery position. The Long Calls and Puts module tracks current market value, unrealized profit or loss, daily time decay in dollar terms, and profit maps across price and time with maximum loss capped at the initial debit. Multi-Leg support includes iron condors, credit and debit spreads, straddles, strangles, synthetic positions, and calendar spreads, presenting each complex trade as a unified position with calculated maximum loss, maximum gain, breakeven points, and payoff diagrams at expiration. The Safe Withdrawal tool determines the amount of income that may be distributed by reconciling gross closed-cycle profits against prior withdrawals and maintaining a hard equity floor at the designated target level while presenting scenarios for full release, capped withdrawal, or throttled distribution. Automated Insights flags risk events such as earnings announcements within expiration periods, detects concentration drift relative to user-defined caps, and surfaces historical performance patterns by underlying symbol.

Data refreshes every twenty-four hours. The platform connects to brokerage accounts through read-only integrations that cannot execute trades or move capital. Charles Schwab integration uses OAuth authentication with account and transaction read scopes for synchronizing live positions, fill data, expirations, and margin. Interactive Brokers connectivity operates through Flex Web Service tokens generated within account management to support multi-account aggregation, native parsing of combo orders, and multi-currency normalization. Robinhood, Fidelity, and tastytrade integrations are facilitated through a secure portal where users authenticate directly without sharing credentials. CSV import auto-detects file formats from supported brokers, enabling drag-and-drop reconciliation with manual entries or as an alternative to API connections. Broker credentials and transaction data are encrypted at rest with AES two hundred fifty-six bit encryption and protected by row-level isolation to ensure no cross-user data visibility. The application implements one-click account deletion with zero-day data retention following removal. Infrastructure is hosted in United States data centers with ongoing SOC two audit processes and supports user revocation of access tokens at any time.
