The scans identify conditions such as cavities, calculus and other dental issues and flag results as preliminary rather than diagnostic. All responses to patient inquiries are grounded exclusively in a clinic-approved knowledge base that is automatically constructed by scraping content from the existing website and is subject to review and editing prior to deployment.

scanO Copilot includes emergency triage capabilities that flag severe pain, swelling or trauma and routes urgent cases to the practice phone line. Direct calendar integration reads real-time availability and completes appointment bookings within the conversation flow in approximately thirty seconds. Every patient interaction, including chat transcripts, AI scan results and booking details, is captured and routed to the scanO Engage lead dashboard, which provides practice staff with full context for each prospective patient. The solution also extends beyond the practice website to channels such as Instagram, WhatsApp and Google Business Profile and generates a shareable bot link for clinics without websites.

Deployment requires only a single JavaScript embed snippet and no developer assistance for basic setup. The software operates within the broader scanO ecosystem alongside scanO air, scanO engage, scanO care, nova rover and scanKit API, enabling integration with complementary products. The platform maintains compliance with regulatory frameworks including HIPAA alignment for United States healthcare practices, GDPR compliance for European operations and ABDM alignment for Indian practices. Patient data is never used to train AI models. White-label customization is available in higher-tier plans without usage caps or per-interaction fees.
