Seats at overview

What is Seats at?

Seats at is a commission-free restaurant reservation and operations platform built for restaurants that want to own their bookings and their data instead of renting diners from a marketplace.

Restaurants take direct reservations from their own booking page and from a single shareable link-in-bio page designed for Instagram and TikTok. Staff enter the bookings that arrive by telephone, at the door, or as a repeat of an earlier visit, and walk-ins, each stored with its own source. Every booking lands in the same live view the host works from, alongside the service timeline. There are no per-cover commissions and no surprise month-end invoices: one flat monthly price is the whole bill.

Bookings move through requested, confirmed, seated, completed, no-show and cancelled, and unanswered requests can expire automatically after a set number of hours. A waitlist holds guests when a service is full; when a booking cancels, matching waitlist entries within an hour either side of the freed slot are surfaced for one-click promotion.

The floor plan covers rooms and sections, a seat count per table, a cover limit per time slot, second seatings, and minimum and maximum party sizes per venue. Bookable slots are generated from opening hours.

Seats at also replaces QR-code-only menus with public, indexable, multi-language menu pages that help restaurants get found in search, with allergen labelling on every dish drawn from the EU 14-allergen list. Team access keeps the whole front-of-house working from the same live view, with roles scoping what each member can do, and multi-location support lets small groups run several venues, each with its own public pages and floor plan, under one account.

Free printable menu templates are published alongside, and need no account: three styles, each filled in or blank to write on by hand, laid out to print correctly on A4 and US Letter from the same sheet. Allergens are numbered rather than coloured, in the venue's own language, so a kitchen printer that has run out of colour still prints a legible allergen key.

Key capabilities:

- Direct bookings on the venue's own page, with no guest account or app

- Telephone, at-the-door, repeat-visit and walk-in entry, each stored by source

- Waitlist with one-click promotion when a booking cancels

- Floor plan: rooms, sections, seats per table, cover limits per slot, second seatings

- Multi-language, public and indexable menu pages with EU allergen labelling

- Link-in-bio page for booking, menu, directions, socials and reviews

- Private dining and buy-out enquiries, payment-free

- Free printable menu templates, A4 and US Letter, no account needed

- Several venues under one account, with roles per team member

- Flat monthly pricing with no per-cover fees; you own your data

Data is stored in the European Union, in Frankfurt. The interface runs in eight languages and guest records are scoped to the account, never shared across accounts.

Seats at is positioned against marketplace platforms like OpenTable, TheFork and Quandoo. Marketplaces can still be useful for diner discovery, but Seats at owns everything after the booking, at a predictable price. Setup takes about an hour and most restaurants go live the same day.

It is not a point-of-sale system, it does not process payments or deposits, and it does not do delivery.
