SignoutCrib manages the full custody loop for tools, equipment, and shared assets: who has what, when it is due back, and what condition it came back in.

Built for tool cribs, skilled trades programs, maintenance shops, and equipment rooms where several people check items in and out of the same inventory at the same time.

Functions: multi-item checkout with row-level locking so two staff cannot double-book an item; partial returns that keep the loan open until every item is home; condition recorded per line at both checkout and check-in; an overdue dashboard with automated email reminders; QR label generation at 30 labels per sheet, each label opening that item's own page; CSV import with a dry-run preview before commit; multi-location tracking with strict data separation; and an append-only audit trail where records are retired, never deleted.

Administration is self-service. Locations, categories, condition labels, and even the word used for the items themselves are editable from a settings screen — a crib calls them tools, a school calls them devices. No support ticket and no vendor involvement are required to reconfigure the vocabulary.

Access is role-based across owner, manager, staff, and viewer, with 12-hour sessions, CSRF protection, and per-organization data isolation. Deployment is cloud-hosted; no on-premise installation is required.

Pricing is a single flat rate that includes unlimited users, unlimited locations, and unlimited items. There are no per-seat, per-PC, or per-app licenses and no tiers to outgrow.
