    Pros
    Overall a very good and intuitive rental program at an affordable price with great support.
    Useful and super helpful product for organizing the rental services we offer in our shop.
    The backend calendar and inventory management is a delight to work with and the payment integration with Stripe is seamless.
    Cons
    We hate losing a small piece that may cost $1000 or more and we didn't have it barcoded in separately on a check out. Also it has a hard time integrating with Quickbooks and other accounting software.
    So far that is my main complaint. It is only designs for a brick and mortar shop when so many rental shops are online now.
    It runs next to our online store, so you see 2 shopping baskets on the page which is sometimes confusing.

    Pros

    Coming from the vacation rental world, I had a lot of "must haves" in the software. I knew I needed a software company that included a website/webpage, a place to book clients and a backend that would work seamlessly between my business partner and I, so we could stay on the same page. With the ability to communicate in real time with quotes and booking contracts, Booqable exceeded my expectations.

    Cons

    The mobile site and pc view have slight off center discrepancies.

    Pros

    Booqable made it possible for us to launch our rental service in a very cost-efficient manner. It would not have been possible without them. Their system is very robust for the base functionaliteit of a rental system: booking, reservation and asset tracking over time. The website builder is very intuitive and you can really get great and professional results without getting into the technicalities. Also the existing links with external apps work very well. I'm particulary happy about the flexible payment and invoicing options provided by booqable and the collaboration with Stripe.

    Cons

    While Booqable has proven to provide great value and support for launching our rental company, it's just not quite flexible enough in some regards. For example: delivery options are very limited, it's not possible to set article (or variant) specific rental periods, pop-ups for marketing actions or mailing list subscription is not possible when using the booqable website builder, neither is a chatbot. All not really business-critical, but would be nice to have.

    Not usable for larger inventory

    Initially it looked good, but set up proved to be a nightmare. the support guy was super nice and tried, but the product is just not set up by people who fully understand how large databases are used, accessed and maintained by users. If you have 20 products it's probably fine, but stay far, far away if you have a lot of different pieces to rent.

    Pros

    It was cheap in comparison to the other platforms we looked at, support was responsive and tried to be helpful, but this product just isn't workable

    Cons

    Importing 150 records at a time when you have thousands is absurd.It ONLY imports the daily rental rate and since we rent by month, the only way to change pricing for 4000 records it IS TO GO IN MANUALLY TO EVERY RECORD AND CHANGE IT. - OMGThe "bulk actions" are a joke, and you can't add multiple items to collections or categories, or edit prices or much of anything else except to do it record by record....

    Booqable: Good for rentals, just ok for online sales. Good Value!

    Overall experience has been pretty good, support was just ok in the beginning but has much improved. The software isn’t very intuitive, and takes quite a bit of time to learn how to use it as there’s a lot of nuances to it. Sales from the website are awkward for the customer, as they have to enter a “rental period” in order to make a purchase, which has caused frustration on the customer end, as well as owner.

    Pros

    Great for rental bookings, support is great for navigating nuances.

    Cons

    Not the best for sales, awkward interface when a customer purchases through site. Support isn’t live, therefore you have to wait for a response which on weekends, can be delayed.

    Everything we needed!

    Pros

    Before using Booqable, we used to have to handle our inventory management, booking/contract details and invoicing all manually. We spent a lot of time going back-and-forth with clients. Booqable has taken those tasks off our hands. It's a great platform where everything can be done in one place, efficiently.

    Cons

    We used Booqable's website builder and didn't love it. It isn't as user-friendly as other platforms like Squarespace, but we managed to create our website with what it offered.
