Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.

SolarVis overview
What is SolarVis?
SolarVis is an all-in-one solar proposal software platform that consolidates design, feasibility analysis, customer relationship management and proposal generation into a unified workflow for solar installation companies. It serves residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural segments with support for regulatory frameworks and utility tariffs across more than forty-five countries. The browser-based interface enables teams to move from site assessment to signed proposal without switching tools. The platform is used by more than one thousand eight hundred solar installation companies globally. It replaces conventional stacks of computer aided design, spreadsheet and customer management systems with a single environment.
The three-dimensional design and modeling module employs artificial intelligence to detect rooftop outlines from satellite imagery and generate a wireframe representation of roof geometry. Artificial intelligence algorithms populate the roof surface with panel layouts based on targets such as panel count, energy production goals or consumption ratios while respecting setbacks, obstacles and shading constraints. Location-specific solar irradiation data calculates performance projections by orientation and tilt and automatic inverter matching is included.
The feasibility analysis module offers integrated assessments for photovoltaic systems, battery storage, heat pump integration and electric vehicle charger installations. It applies country-specific regulations and utility tariff structures to derive performance metrics and probabilistic production forecasts suitable for financing evaluations. The proposal generation feature transforms design specifications, feasibility outputs and bills of materials into white-label branded documents with a single action. Distribution options include shareable links, email, messaging channels and document download while engagement metrics track proposal views.
The integrated solar customer relationship management module maintains leads, proposals and project records in a kanban pipeline with task assignment and activity feeds that preserve context throughout the sales funnel. The tariffs and regulations module embeds net metering rules, feed-in mechanisms, export limits and grid connection caps to ensure compliance at design time. A sequential eight-step workflow guides data entry from project details and consumption profiles through modeling, equipment configuration and materials assembly to final proposal output. Data entry at each stage propagates automatically to subsequent steps, reducing redundancy and improving accuracy. White-label branding and multi-language support allow companies to tailor the interface and deliverables to local markets.
