Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

SymendConverse overview
What is SymendConverse?
SymendConverse is the voice-channel extension of Symend's collection strategy platform — an orchestration and personalization layer that sits above voice/AI infrastructure rather than replacing it.
Architecture: Converse is provider-agnostic by design. It is not tied to a single voice or AI engine — it determines call strategy, sequencing, and personalization, then routes execution through best-of-breed voice providers. For enterprises that have already standardized on a horizontal virtual agent platform (e.g., Google CCAI, Amazon Connect), Converse routes into that infrastructure and layers on collections-specific personalization, tone, and behavioral instructions, with telemetry flowing back into the Symend platform.
Personalization engine: Every call is shaped by the customer's Delinquency Archetype — a behavioral classification based on capacity to pay and readiness to act. Archetype assignment determines tone, pacing, message framing, and negotiation approach for each call. Conversations adjust dynamically in real time based on customer responses and intent recognition, rather than following a fixed script.
Core capabilities:
Outbound and inbound conversational AI
Real-time negotiation with intent recognition
Natural, localized voice — adapts tone and accent by customer and region
Personalized voicemail detection and messaging
Call routing and warm hand-off to live agents, with full context preserved
Seamless cross-channel orchestration between voice and digital
Closed-loop learning: Every voice interaction updates Symend Scores in real time, which in turn refines digital messaging strategies (email, SMS). Conversely, digital engagement data informs voice AI scripts and timing. This bidirectional feedback loop means both channels compound in effectiveness over time rather than operating in silos.
Integration: Converse integrates with existing telephony and billing systems and is designed to plug directly into SymendCure's Delinquency Archetypes and Symend Scores, enabling a single, unified collections strategy across every channel. It can also run independently of Cure, though that configuration is not the platform's ideal deployment.
Pricing model: Currently priced per connected minute, with a transition underway toward resolution/outcome-based pricing (cost per placement cured). Long-term, Converse and Cure roll into a combined total-cost-of-collections model.
Deployment focus: Initial deployments emphasize outbound (Symend-orchestrated) calling. Inbound — the larger long-term volume opportunity — requires identity verification and greater customer effort, and is treated as a roadmap capability rather than the primary use case today.
Compliance & security: Built on the same enterprise-grade security and compliance foundation as the rest of the Symend platform, including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification.
