TheCrib is a team management app that gives coaches one place to run everything from the roster to game day, so they spend less time on admin and more time coaching. It's built for coaches, players, and parents, and it keeps the whole team in sync in real time across iPhone, Android, and the web.

What it does

Coaches manage their roster with player profiles, positions, and jersey numbers, and can link parent or guardian accounts. Scheduling is built in, so when you post a practice or game everyone gets a push notification, the event syncs to their own calendar, and RSVPs tell you exactly who's coming. You can track attendance, send announcements, and message the team inside the app, which keeps everything off scattered group texts. The AI practice planner turns a few inputs into a timed session with drills, and the tactics whiteboard lets you draw plays, save them, and replay the movement. Across the season you can record game scores, player stats, and evaluations, and pull from a drill library.

Integrations

Payments run through Stripe, so coaches collect team fees online and get paid directly, with automatic reminders for anyone who hasn't paid. Schedules export to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook using standard calendar files, and events can be added to a player's device calendar. Push notifications are delivered natively on iOS and Android.

Security and privacy

Accounts are protected by Firebase Authentication, and data is encrypted in transit. Access is role based, so coaches, players, and parents each see only what they should. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, so card data never touches TheCrib's own servers. There's no private direct messaging between users, which keeps team communication open and appropriate for youth teams. Users can delete their account and data at any time.
