TicknCook overview

What is TicknCook?

TicknCook is a cloud-based Kitchen Display System (KDS) that replaces paper tickets with real-time digital order management across touchscreen displays. Orders from POS systems, delivery platforms (Uber Eats, Deliveroo, DOOD), click and collect, and online ordering are centralized and routed to the appropriate kitchen, counter, expo, or front-of-house stations simultaneously. The software runs on any internet-connected touchscreen via a web browser, including Android tablets, iPads, and touch screens connected to a mini-PC, with no software installation required and setup completed in under 24 hours.

Station routing and filtering allow operators to direct specific order types or menu categories (hot, cold, pizza, desserts, and others) to designated screens. Features include preparation step tracking, course management, item aggregation for high-volume environments, order-type differentiation (dine-in, takeaway, delivery), a dedicated delivery driver screen, and a customer-facing queue display. Delay tracking highlights overdue orders in red, and preparation-time statistics provide operational visibility. Uber Eats Busy Mode and Pause Mode are accessible directly from the KDS interface. With 60+ configurable settings and 100+ possible workflows, the system adapts to fast food, quick-service, table-service, pizzerias, dark kitchens, ghost kitchens, food courts, bakeries, food trucks, franchise networks, and event catering venues.

Multi-location management is handled from a single account, making TicknCook applicable to independent operators and restaurant chains alike. Ticket and sticker printing is supported via Zebra or Epson hardware. Bagging and final order validation workflows are included. No hardware lock-in applies; operators use any compatible touchscreen or tablet. A 15-day free trial is available with no commitment.
