Toby helps independent restaurant owners in France know what each dish really costs and what it earns. It was built by a restaurant owner, for small sites with 1 to 10 staff: restaurants, bars, pizzerias, burger places, coffee shops, crêperies and bakeries.

Getting started takes minutes. Photograph your menu and Toby proposes each recipe with its usual ingredients and quantities. Photograph a supplier invoice and Toby reads the products, pack sizes and prices you actually paid. You stay in control: every suggestion can be checked, edited or cancelled, and any price Toby had to guess is labelled as an estimate until you replace it.

For every recipe, Toby gives the cost per portion, the margin, a coloured verdict against your own target and the lowest selling price that still reaches it. When a supplier raises a price, all recipes using that ingredient update at once, so you see which dishes fall below target.

Costing recipes and margins is free and unlimited, with no card required. Toby Pro, at €12.90 per month with a 14-day free trial, adds production plans, supplier orders, stock counts and price updates from photographed invoices, all built on the same recipe cards. Toby works in any browser on computer or phone. It does not replace your till or your accountant, and it is not designed for chains.
