Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

VeraOS overview
What is VeraOS?
VeraOS is a hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) operating system that consolidates compute, storage, and networking into a single software-defined platform. Deployable on commodity x86 hardware across on-premises, private cloud, and hybrid cloud environments, it replaces traditional virtualization stacks and supports virtual machine workloads without dependence on proprietary hypervisors. Target markets include managed service providers (MSPs), cloud hosting providers, enterprise IT departments, and organizations actively migrating away from VMware-based infrastructure.
The platform delivers a broad feature set within a unified management interface: software-defined storage with global deduplication and compression, snapshot and cloning capabilities, built-in disaster recovery, networking virtualization, and multi-tenancy support. These capabilities are administered through a single pane of glass, reducing the operational overhead typically associated with managing discrete compute, storage, and networking layers. Multi-tenant architecture makes the platform well-suited for service providers managing isolated customer environments at scale.
From a business value perspective, VeraOS addresses two primary cost drivers in enterprise virtualization: hardware consolidation and licensing. By running on commodity x86 hardware and eliminating proprietary hypervisor licensing, organizations reduce both capital and operational expenditure. Built-in high availability and disaster recovery remove the need for separate third-party continuity solutions, further consolidating the infrastructure stack. The result is a unified HCI platform that covers the full lifecycle of virtual infrastructure management across diverse deployment models.
