Video Wall Live for Ring overview

What is Video Wall Live for Ring?

Video Wall Live for Ring is a Ring-approved, third-party streaming app that renders every Ring camera and doorbell simultaneously in a live multi-camera grid on Apple TV (tvOS 17+), Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, Android TV, Roku, or any current web browser at app.videowalllive.com with no installation required. It is the only multi-camera viewer Ring has reviewed and approved for its App Store. Camera streams travel directly from Ring to the display device and never pass through Video Wall servers, preserving the privacy protections Ring already provides. An active Ring Protect plan is required. Pricing is $1.99 per camera per month with a 30-day free trial, billed through the existing Ring account.

The app supports a wide range of display configurations: a simultaneous live grid of all cameras, fullscreen single-camera playback with one-way live audio, Auto-Cycle mode that rotates through cameras on a timer, and a customizable camera selection and display order. Event history, including motion clips and doorbell events, is browsable directly from the TV remote. Clock, weather, and activity widgets appear alongside camera feeds on Apple TV and web. Apple TV users also get Top Shelf integration, surfacing recent camera snapshots for direct launch into a specific feed. Kiosk mode restores the wall automatically on TV power-on, and battery camera power is managed via Auto mode. Ring Edge cameras that do not support live streaming through the partner API are handled via snapshots and event clip playback. Up to 10 TVs per household are supported on one Ring account at no extra charge.

Business deployments, including auto dealerships, media and production studios, apartment and condo properties, legal and professional offices, security and monitoring operations, construction and trades companies, and faith and community organizations, are served through a dedicated tier offering unlimited cameras per wall, custom layout and behavior options, priority direct support, and assisted multi-site rollout. This makes the product viable for front-desk displays, guard stations, back-office monitoring, and distributed multi-site installations without requiring additional hardware beyond an existing compatible streaming device.
