Xeoma overview

What is Xeoma?

Xeoma is a cross-platform video surveillance software with over 100 features and 30+ built-in smart analytics. It serves businesses of any size — from a single storefront camera to enterprise networks with thousands of cameras.

Xeoma stands out from the competition with its unique combination of simplicity, affordability, and intelligent features that allow it to flexibly adapt to any project's needs.

A unique approach to system design:

Xeoma replaces traditional menu-driven configuration with a one-of-a-kind visual workflow builder. Modules — functional blocks representing capabilities like video sources, detectors, analytics, notifications, and recording — connect into logical chains by simple drag and drop. Setups that typically require a dedicated integrator can be assembled in minutes, with no coding and no technical training.

Not just for security:

While most video surveillance software focuses on recording and playback, Xeoma turns existing cameras into versatile business tools. An entrance camera recognizes VIP clients and alerts the team. A checkout camera detects a growing queue and notifies the manager. A warehouse camera spots a missing hard hat and triggers a safety report. An office camera logs attendance — no paperwork, no supervisor.

Xeoma has over 30 smart tools for:

- recognition of license plates, faces, emotions, object types, specific sounds, words, and text,

- detection of fire, abandoned items, safety equipment, face masks, people falling, crowds, color, and loitering,

- counting of visitors and passengers,

- monitoring of camera tampering and system health,

- tracking of eye movements,

- creating heatmaps and working with floor plans,

- access control and organizational workflows,

- integration with cash registers, smart home systems, and external devices,

…and many more.

New modules are added with every release.

Unmatched compatibility

Xeoma video surveillance software supports 99% of IP cameras. Full support for ONVIF, RTSP, H.264, H.265, H.266, MJPEG, and PTZ. Up to 3,000 cameras per server with no limit on servers or clients.

The server runs natively on Windows, Linux, Linux ARM (Raspberry Pi), macOS, and Android — as a full server, not a viewer. Client apps are available for iOS and Android, and access is also possible directly through a web browser. Remote access works even without a static IP.

Every industry, every scale

Retail uses Xeoma for customer analytics and loss prevention. Healthcare monitors queues and enforces compliance. Manufacturing tracks PPE and automates reporting. Hospitality improves service with crowd and emotion monitoring. Banks, schools, logistics, government — each finds a system that fits without compromise.

Enterprise-grade infrastructure

Multi-server and multi-client architecture.

Role-based access with granular permissions.

Interactive e-maps, server clustering, centralized management.

Integration with point-of-sale terminals, access control, and smart home systems via HTTP/JSON API, Modbus, and GPIO.

Transparent pricing

All licenses are perpetual — a one-time purchase, no subscriptions, no per-camera fees. Alternatively, rental subscriptions are available for short-term projects.

Proven and trusted

Developed continuously since 2004, Xeoma is used in projects worldwide. Available in 79 languages with free technical support.

Custom development is available for projects with unique requirements — purpose-built modules and integrations tailored to exact specifications.
