zCompute overview

What is zCompute?

zCompute is a fully managed, elastic cloud compute service that provisions and manages on-demand virtual machines, networking, and block storage across colocation facilities, private data centers, public cloud environments, and 500+ edge locations worldwide. Built on x86-compatible hardware with a cloud-optimized hypervisor, it exposes an AWS EC2-compatible API, allowing organizations to manage compute resources through a web-based dashboard or REST API without modifying existing applications or tooling. Standard and Premium VM instance types, GPU instances with PCI-passthrough support for NVIDIA L4 and L40s GPUs, auto scaling groups, application and network load balancers, and isolated VPC environments are available across all deployment models.

zCompute targets enterprises of all sizes, managed service providers (MSPs), and service providers in regulated industries including healthcare, finance, government, telecommunications, and transportation. Isolated VPC environments with full control over IP ranges, subnets, route tables, and security groups support compliance with data protection regulations and data sovereignty requirements. MSPs can deliver branded cloud services independent of hyperscaler pricing or lock-in. Infrastructure as Code support via Terraform and OpenTofu, Kubernetes integration with EKS-D workflow compatibility, and AWS-compatible cloud integrations extend the platform for DevOps and production workloads alike.

For AI and analytics workloads, zCompute provides GPU cloud instances with direct NVMe connectivity and supports one-touch AI and LLM infrastructure deployment via Terraform across compute, storage, and networking. Integration with vector databases including Pinecone, Weaviate, and ChromaDB enables embedding storage and similarity search. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows allow AI models to retrieve corporate data from vector databases in real time, with a private AI cloud deployment option maintaining full control over data privacy and sovereignty. Consumption-based pricing with no long-term commitments and no ingress or egress fees applies across all deployment configurations.
