I love that you can easily review and test multiple actors on the market, interact with the developers and do more

It was a steep learning forever to begin but got the hang of it quickly

I use Apify's Web Scrapers almost daily. It saves me a lot of time as I don't have to manually copy paste information I need for my work. I like simplicity of it and that it JUST works. I tried different web scrapers before but they were buggy and always had some issues.

No cons I can think of, support is timely and very helpful, I feel appreciated as a customer.

- Powerful data extraction - Scalable infrastructure - Scheduling & feature rich

- Customer support is worst nightmare with them - Pricing is unfair (They even don't have clarification on how you billed certain amount) - It has bugs which are lasting months even after reporting. Actor gets stuck forever causing you billing - Reporting is not integrated part of dashboard

Customer service is excellent - Apify is always quick to respond and happy to help with queries.

The last time I checked, there were no existing actors which allowed me to scrape content published by brands on LinkedIn. For this process I used PhantomBuster instead.

This is working pretty well. Good documentation. Lots of examples. Good blog articles.

understanding the usage credit is tedious.

It's made our job much easier as most of what we do revolves around tracking our campaigns and how they are performing. So it's much better than going in & individually recording data on each video we work with. Now we get results in minutes and have plugged it into our database so our dashboard can update with newest data & clients know how their campaigns are progressing daily!

It's not the easiest to understand at first. A colleague of mine who is more familiar with tech & data was able to figure it out but for the rest of us, it's not as easy to understand the functions/how to make things work at first.

I'm not the most techy person, but I can easily configure their actors with Apify's UI and then copy the input json to make.com to create automated lead gen scrapes. I love this!

It can be a little buggy when actors are running and watching the latest actor runs page, but everything catches up and displays correctly once the actors finish. No a big deal.

Its really easy and straightforward to start using Apify platform, the documentation is great. And bonus for webscraping is the open-source Crawlee library, that made my scraping experience 10x faster than doing it the old school way.

On Apify platform I miss using custom docker images (builds I built myself or in GitHub Actions pipeline), but thats managable.

It's like an app store for scrapers (and more) - no company on it's own could make so many amazing scrapers, but Apify's business model is genius, and that's why there's so many great tools at a great price (for many of them).

Sometimes the best actors are behind a rental paywall - but I can't even get mad at that because the best coders will want to be reimbursed well.

I really like the interface as it is simple, I can extract data from any website, the automation to extract data is precise, I like it because it makes our work much easier, it has a good selection of scrapers, programming crawls is very easy.

In the time that we have been using Apify we have not had any problems, it has helped us to solve problems that were very complicated for us manually, it is a software with an excellent ROI.

I like the ability to transform data during the extraction process. It facilitates the integration of numerous integrations and allows receiving notifications via email. It is very easy to obtain valuable information in an automated way from different sources. Its ability to develop with open source code from different libraries is very versatile.

I think it is necessary to improve the documentation to minimize the learning curve.

Between the awesome platform, the fantastic scrapers and the epic customer service, Apify is an absolute force. Sometimes the individual Actors (scrapers) break, and you have to wait for them to get fixed, which causes some delays.BUT, that's the nature of software, and they're scraping live systems/platforms, which have their own development roadmaps and ever-changing API's. So it's likely a game of continuously monitoring and updating their Actors. This is where Apify's customer service really shines. They're super quick to dig into an issue and get it resolved.

Apify offers automatic data extraction, simplified and flexible. I like that it works very well with Python and JavaScript as well. The ability to develop and run programs in the cloud, serverless, is very useful. It allows to keep URL queues of web pages, to crawl and export it to Excel. Provides a set of integrations to boost productivity.

This solution guarantees excellent quality web data extraction, there is nothing I dislike about it.

Apify platform provides a very versatile and wide range of services for web scraping. A strong and convenient SDK, cool web UI for visualising datasets, communication with clients/developers, scrapers overview and configuration etc.

From a dev perspective, I'd say that it's high time for Apify team to organize all the SDK best-practice materials for overcoming website anti-scraping technologies into some kind of a separate documentation block.

Apify seems to be by far the most advanced scraping platform. They have ready-made web crawlers and we can also build our own or get a custom scraper from Apify. Their documentation is also very comprehensive and support team is responsive. It is our one-stop shop for web scraping needs. We've built several applications for our own or for clients use.

Nothing comes to mind, perhaps notifications about proxies could be less annoying.

I utilized it for scrap booking and Google Maps; it really was simple for using, and the output was just what I needed. In comparison to what I previously used, I must say that it is far more customer.

I can scrap big and large websites precisely how I need to. I also saved a toned of time after I was able to put up automations.

Nothing up to now. I can only advise using the software if you want to try a scraping tool or are dissatisfied with your present one.

My favorite part about apify is the proxy management and rotation. Traditionally this is a nightmare for me and I love the completely managed proxy rotation and management.

The pricing is a little bit high. I wish that I could access the pay as you go pricing of actors/proxies without having to pay for a $50/month subscription.

I liked the ease of use and the seamless integration with my existing business processes.

I wish the JS SDK used more generic types.

My favorite feature about Apify is that it is modular and offers the ability to crawl data from popular social media sites.

Some actors are a little too expensive. Other than that, there is nothing else I don't like.
