I used Google analytics for all my clients and also achieve the right audience by the help of this. Overall it is the best in industry somehow.
The best part of Google analytics are it is free, easy to access of all features, easy to connect with Google search console and Google Ads, easily track all the visitors and analysis the data for research, Its reporting is very easy, customize and very descriptive.
Some features are limited to access the audience part compare to Adobe Analytics and other open source website analytics tool.

I have used this tool for over 8 years and even though our company uses Adobe Analytics I still find myself navigating to GA for some reports often times because they are just more intuitive for a non analyst to understand. Also, the connections to third parties make this tool second to none.
The cost and connections to other apps make Google Analytics a serious no brainier for everyone. It's free. Everyone uses it and Google makes it easy to learn and improve.
Google analytics is not near as robust as Adobe Analytics and there fairly big limitations when it comes to advanced segmentation.

I provide monthly analytics reports for 6+ clients every month, and I find Google Analytics the most intuitive of my clients use (I'm not a big fan of Adobe Analytics).
Reporting in Analytics integrates with Search Console, and that is very handy in my job, which is analyzing a site's search optimization and overall performance. The "saved reports" section is also a life saver.
Some deep features definitely require a bit more expertise to implement. While you can certainly easily access the core data, things like adding specific segments takes a fair bit longer and even with experience, I have to tinker sometimes to make it work well on anything that's not just a basic search filter.

We have been able to measure everything on our website and our clients' websites. This data has allowed us to improve our marketing efforts and drive more revenue.
Google Analytics is easy to set up, has incredible documentation, and allows you to track just about everything you could possibly need. The reporting options are solid and have been greatly enhanced by Google Data Studio.
While the reporting is good, it's not as visually appealing or easy to read as Adobe Analytics. This is especially true of the event reporting. Additionally, the pathing reports are pretty limited compared to what you get from Adobe Analytics.

It's not a bad platform, but security concerns had us opt for Adobe Analytics instead.
It's a pretty solid Analytics interface. There aren't many things it can't do. Ultimately, it's easy to navigate and powerful.
Google itself is open to security issues. So, our company has decided not to contract with Google products.

I expect to continue using Google Analytics because it is the best free option out there, but I see upgrading to Adobe analytics because of the additional features.
One of the most widely used free web analytics tools, Google also offers free training with their certification program.
Inaccurate numbers for analytics especially with larger data sets where Google Analytics will sample users and "guess" or estimate numbers.

Overall experience has been great so far. It has helped me a lot to track my visitors and my ad conversations.
Conversation tracking, monitoring website traffic, integration with Google ads and my website.
I can't think of any cons except there are similar applications which give more features like Adobe analytics.

Overall, its a great starting point if you just want to engage in the basic functions of business analytics and planning. However, if you want to dive deeper, then you may have to shift to other contenders like the Adobe Analytics.
It allows the different departments of the company to collaborate and contribute. No upper limits on goals and objectives.
The graphical user interface and other graphical tools are lacking as they will allow me to visualize things better. Also app integration is also a issue that i faced.

Analytics is probably the most powerful tools on the internet, and it's free... I believe there might be more powerful software (Adobe Analytics?) but none of them is free and, for small businesses, this makes a huge difference!
It has so many features that it definitely requires spending some time learning how to get some good info out of all those numbers!

For a free tool, I suggest it to everyone. At a more enterprise-level, you've got more options such as Adobe, but even at that level I would recommend Google Analytics 360
Sometime, when you've got a lot of data GA will do some sampling, so be careful.

I have always thought of GA coming in second to Adobe, but the Salesforce integration has brought them much closer together, allowing the insights gained in the analytics to be acted upon in the experience platforms.
The growth of integrations has been one the best aspects of Google Analytics - Tag Manager, Optimize, Data Studio, and most recently with Salesforce allows for not only advanced data capture, but usage as well. This means that you can gain insights and act upon them much faster.
Data sampling is still an issue, but data studio integrations are helping to relieve that problem.

At my content marketing company, we use Google Analytics to track the progress of our written content.
At my content marketing company, Google Analytics is integrated into our SaaS platform, making it extremely easy to access any metrics related to our content. Since we have hundreds of clients with thousands of piece of content for each, having GA there to help us organize our analytics into accessible and readable data is incredibly helpful.
Some of our clients use other systems for their analytics, such as Adobe. We've seen some pretty drastic discrepancies between the data from each of these systems, and it's sometimes difficult to know which system is correct.

My overall conclusion is, Google Analytics is a great tool. I recommend without any doubt and I can say, your satisfaction will be guaranteed! IT saves your time, makes your work easy and it's very easy to use. I personally found out it's amazing. If you're using Adobe Analytics or something else I invite you to give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
As a freelancer one of my main activity is web traffic providing. With many years of experience in this field I know how important is to have a good metric tool to monitor the traffic and it's behavior. In that point the google analytics comes handy. It helps to track the visit of the customer until the last point, the time spent in the site/app which helps to improve the functionality. It's up to date, transparent and easy to use. When it comes to SEO it plays a nice roll to fulfill my customers' requirements. With the bounce rate of the visits it provides, ensure the my customers the quality of traffic I provide. That's why I always recommend my customers Google Analytics together with the tracking link. It has a nice dashboard that impress me.
To be honest there're some suggestions I would like to highlight. 1 - It need some direct support other than too much automated which will be very useful for a new user. (Previously I had to involve in some complains of my costumers regarding setting it up) 2 - It'll be awesome if google can provide the possibility to track the direct sales as well. 3 - In my point of view, the most common method of trouble shooting is (specially when you're new) to go and watch a video tutorial. There're lot of features in Google Analytics which will be very useful such demonstrations to understand how they work and what they do as well as to fix the problems you find.

Great, free solution for organizations looking to get basic - advanced website performance metrics and stats.
Although great for some organizations, larger enterprises may want to look into Adobe Analytics for more robust and customizable reporting and support in regions where Google may be blocked. Support is extremely challenging, with many reps simply reading info from their help site.

Google analytics has been an awesome analytics tool for me over the years, i have tried so many analytics softwares and i can authoritatively say that Google analytics is the best.
Google Analytics is about the most accurate web analytics software out there compared to so many I have tested out there. The clean user-friendly interface and its intelligence feature make it the best out there. It is free to use Its ability to connect with other Google services makes it even better. It is easy to use Has lots of tools for better insight into one's site's visitors and their behaviours while on one's site. Google Analytics data is easy to export to other tools It is widely used
Requires one to understand some part of coding to know how to implement it on one's site. For a new user, it may be a bit challenging to understand the different tools and metrics on the dashboard.

For a long time I worked at Adobe Analytics and noticed a big difference after switching to Google. Now I can use tags for utm to get detailed traffic information from each channel. This helps to distribute the advertising budget on time.
GA’s interface is not as nice as Adobe Analytics’s. Many tools and functions are hidden, you have to look for them and remember the location so as not to lose anymore.

I love Google Analytics and it is the best web analytics tool on the market
Google Analytics is the best reporting tool on the market in my opinion. I have used it for many years now daily. It is easy to install on your website and provides a lot of information for free
Google Analytics is great the only con I would say is when you manage a lot of accounts it can get confusing to add a new member since there are multiple spots to grant users access.

I've been using Google Analytics since it was known as Urchin Analytics in the early 2000s.
Free. Very powerful. Gives me critical insights into the success or failures of my business websites.
The customer interest demographics are not as specific as I thought they could be. Perhaps that is because it is not easy to measure interests from search behaviour?

A free trial version of Google Analytics is available on the Google website and you can sign up for access to Google Analytics services. Each of the five main product lines of Google Analytics can be managed individually without additional configuration. by the developers.
To use the Google Analytics service, you can obtain an instance of the product or create a project in the Google Analytics service. You can then download an unlimited number of instances to run on more than one computer or server.
When you want to run the same analyzes on a larger number of individual products, you should consider using the Google administration tool. This tool allows administrators to access many Google Analytics reports using a single URL.

Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics are not competing software, but different products. With its custom variable structure, Adobe can better serve large businesses, while Google can be more convenient for companies that have just started with analytics.
Analytics is the transformation of information that is readily available through different resources and different technologies into information, and transforming it into action for your organization's growth, profitability and other purposes.
When you start using Adobe Analytics for the first time, Adobe's diverse variable structure can confuse you. The fact that this infrastructure is not understood is one of the biggest reasons for technical installation and analysis errors. The analysts who go from Google Analytics to Adobe Analytics say that Adobe is very confused and therefore have difficulty.

We used the software to find out what are customers were doing and then optimize our website to make sure we catered to those needs. Without analytics software you are flying blind to the real activities of your customers.
I liked all the integrated tools and features. You can get different views and customer segments and then setup specific metrics to track what your customers are doing or what you think they are doing.
There is a big learning curve to using Adobe Analytics, especially if you are used to programs like Webtrends or Google Analytics.

Omniture is so easy to use! I love how intuitive it is to use. The best way to learn the system is get in and play with all the fields. It’s very quick to pull data.
I wish the software was more accurate. There’s usually a 5-10% discrepancy when compared to actual demand. I also wish we could include information about on hand inventory and cost to pull margin info.

This tool makes Google Analytics look like it is for children. The analysis power of Adobe is so far ahead they are not comparable. I had been using Google Analytics for 8 years and this blew my mind.
Adobe Analytics is the single most robust analytics tool I have ever used. Its segmentation abilities are insane and its connection to the Adobe Stack make it a powerhouse.
Adobe Analytics comes with a pretty steep learning curve and to find quality training is not free. Plus because of its incredible customization it takes a lot of tribal knowledge to understand the back end connections too.

The integration is the real value if you're using several tools like Adobe Experience Manager, Target, etc. If you're not, you'd be fine with Google Analytics.
As a user of several integrated Adobe tools, Adobe Analytics is key to getting the most of our certain functions, passing data between them. Without AA, it would be difficult to do quite a lot of what we do.
As a user of Google Analytics, AA can take some getting used to, not just because things are done differently, but also because it's not easy to get directly to some of the same data easily found in Google Analytics.
