What is import.io?
Import.io is a cloud-based web data integration platform which allows users to extract, prepare, and integrate unstructured and semi-structured web data into structured data tables. The point-and-click interface lets users select the required information, and data can be integrated into apps or analytics with APIs & webhooks.
With Import.io, users can extract data from their desired URL, including data which is only available after login. Documents and images can be downloaded alongside all web data in a single run. Interactive workflows allow users to record sequences of actions to be performed, such as navigating between pages or changing list sort order. Extraction can be scheduled to run regularly with a range of pre-set options and support for custom schedules.
Import.io transforms data with Excel-like spreadsheet functions. Users can create rules to automatically transform data whenever it is extracted. Data can then be integrated into third party applications, business processes, visualization tools and analysis software through Import.io’s APIs.
