Really love OneNote! Moving to a hybrid position, this makes it very easy to have access to my notes whether I am in office or at home. Easy to organize with different customers and keeping everything organized!
Love the tabs you can make in your notes, keeps you very organized. Backing up my notes so I can have them regardless of what happens to my computer gives me great peace of mind!
Sometimes I will get slightly annoyed by not being able to easily make a new text box within a note sheet. Could be a me issue but sometimes I click away and it just extends my text box to one giant box.

Does what it says on the box. Allows me to organise my notes neatly, becoming searchable and categorised.
Somewhat lacking in formatting tools, but it's non-essential.

I like One Note because you can formulate a check box type of list for your daily work - helps you keep track.
This program is not initially easy to use. It took learning through someone else to figure out some of it's applications.

Great add on from Microsoft!
Very user friendly software that sync's over multiple devices for ease of access. Greatly enjoy the personalization that it allows.
When you copy and paste it created a new text box, sometimes you have to reorganize your notes when adding to them.

OneNote has helped give me a place to brainstorm & keep all sorts of thoughts without cluttering my desktop (computer & physical). I've never had to worry about a note not saving or not being able to find something.
Saving in real time is an awesome feature. I like that I can click anywhere to start typing in a text box. Filing pages & tabs is super easy & user friendly. It's got more features than I've even been able to tap yet.
Anything I would say, I bet I could actually do in some way, I just wouldn't consider myself a OneNote features expert because I mostly use it for simply note taking.

The layout is simple and it is very easy to quickly navigate to whichever note you need to access. I use it for sharing information, tasks, and processes between virtual team members and this makes it easy for multiple members to view and update information.
At first the layout feels odd. When adding a new text block it will literally create a box to type into in whatever area you clicked on the page, which also seems strange at first.

Whatever OneNote is, it is not like a notebook, because in that scenario I imagine myself scribbling notes. I think actually you can literally do that, but I mean figuratively, it does not serve as a blank notepad for my ideas and workflows - too rigid.
OneNote seems like the natural journaling solution for MS Office user, especially if you use across the suite. So if my concerns aren't your concerns, it is very compatible. OneNote seems to integrate with a thousand different applications, but ...
Despite all the integrations and automatic features, the simplest formatting isn't available. If I can't make basic changes like adding an outline to the box I'm using, or editing pictures within the application, I feel handcuffed.

I use this all the time and also love being able to put documents in there for quick access. I know there is more to this program that I have not found, but so far I would not change anything
I love that I can write on a page on my surface, and it show up on my computer instantly and I can add to from there, also when you hand write, instead of erasing you can select and delete the hand written, it saves so much time!!
I would like to have a "trash box" for any deleted items, that save for a period of time in case it needs to be retrieved. I have deleted a few times and needed the info again

Very useful tool that is very easy to use and is used daily.
Onenote allows easy note taking on across multiple platforms and devices, allowing you to take notes on a phone or tablet and viewing them later on a computer.
Unfortunately what I don't like is that you have to write everything in a floating text box, rather than just having a page to write on. It would be nice to just take normal notes in OneNote.

The ability to separate subjects into separate notebook files. And that you can input data from your camera, voice dictation, typing and HANDWRITING!!!. When you enter a picture that contains text you can enable Onenote to make text searchable. I can write notes on top of our schematics to show changes to my colleges. Onedrive allows me to access my data from my phone and desktop without having to take an extra syncing step. I have digitized our manuals and share them via web over our intranet. That is very handy.
This product is not configured well right out of the box. You will have to google tutorials on how this should be setup to get the most out of it. Good news is that this is a one time setup.

I really love being able to click anywhere and have the text box appear. My notes tend to be scattered and it's nice to able to reorganize them easily and quickly. I love the screenshot capabilities and that they will send to the workbook I want. I have used many different note taking apps and I always seem to go back to OneNote.
I wish there were more color options for the tabs. It would be nice to have a colorwheel where you can choose any color.

OneNote is one of the most popular note-taking apps on the market, and for good reason. It offers a robust feature set, a wide variety of integrations with other Microsoft services and web services, and it’s free. The app has been around for years and received several updates over time. However, OneNote’s biggest update in recent memory arrived in 2018 with the release of Microsoft 365 — an updated version of Office 365 that includes all the latest features from the company’s productivity suite. With this new version, OneNote got a makeover and now looks more modern than ever before. It also brought a lot of new features to the table that make it even better than before.
It gives you an easy way to keep all your notes in one place. It’s available on every device, so you can access your notes no matter where you are. You can organize your notes any way that makes sense to you—by topic, date or even tags, like #work or #personal.
Lack of Customization - It's not possible to customize any of your notes or notebooks in OneNote which can make it difficult if you want something more advanced than what it offers out of the box. Microsoft OneNote doesn't have any open APIs or integrations with third-party apps like Evernote does.

Great. OneNote is my primary software tool for studying in residency.
Love that there are different sections so you can organize your notes within the same document but separate based on the day of your lecture or subject matter.
Sometimes I find I'll insert a screenshot and it will be a struggle to get back to the text box I was writing in. This wastes time that it is not intuitive that I would like to basically continue where I left off. If I didn't take the time to align my notes they would look disjointed.

I'm quite satisfied with the overall functionality & the work management achieved thanks to OneNote's robust data-handling & collaboration capabilities. Furthermore, the software pioneers in its flexible note-sharing options where notes can either be shared as files of different formats or as accessible links. That said, I'm gaining a whole lot of features from an out-of-the-box free-of-charge software is more than enough reason to compel any user to at least give it a try.
OneNote is like a virtual whiteboard that collectively stores our ideas, tasks & file attachments of our current & accomplished construction projects in a singular platform accessible anywhere across any device. The user interface is generally butter-smooth & works amazingly well in split-screen mode on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra phone using the S-Pen to jot notes & drag photos & files from the file manager or gallery to the OneNote application. It's a productivity-centric utility that's practically indispensable for my daily tasks.
As of the 22H2 Windows 10 update on my laptop, I've started noticing notes take a bit longer to synchronize my work in order to resume collaboration with the project team. I hope this gets resolved in a future software update on Windows. The mobile & web versions work great though.

OneNote is nice for sharing notes between a team in one place that is accessible by all, but its not necessarily that straightforward to access
I like that you can organize each page into sections, then pages within those sections. You can easily break the notes down into a hierarchy, which I like
Navigating to OneNote from Teams can be tricky because it gets embedded in so many tabs. Also, when typing in OneNote I frequently get messages that my notebook has lapsed in syncing. This never happens to me with Google Docs. Also, I dont like how when you begin typing on a page, it puts that text within a movable box that can accidentally get shifted around the page.

Overall this is an amazing tool for note tracking and can even be used for project management. Its does take a little bit of getting use to if you are coming from something more simplistic like Sticky Notes. I have began using this to track project notes, and even notes for calls. You have ability to share among teams, copy and paste pages from one "book" to another. One nice feature is that you...
This software is awesome for tracking projects, notes, and progress! It is customizable and can be used how ever the user would like! I personally like to section my work out in columns with bullet points, where may manager prefers tables. Some coworkers prefer multiple "books" instead of the method that I prefer is one book, such as Training with multiple pages underneath one book! The system is different if you are coming from a more "basic" system like I was, such as sticky notes! This is Highly Recommended for any member of you team that needs to keep track of notes and even project progress!
The only thing "negative", which is really not horrible, is I wish there was more customization to the "blocks". When you start typing on a page, you will see a "block" appear and you can customize the tab color, the size of the box, the font, color of font, and size but I wish you could add a "hue" to the back ground of the boxes to make them stand out a little more- almost as if you were adding different colored sticky notes to the pages! I did find a work around and I am able to highlight the typed notes with a "lighter" color highlight- which works just as well, just does not look as uniform as the rest of the program! Still a highly recommended product!

Box is true collaboration for Mid-market companies.if you are looking to add cloud file storage to an internal suite of web apps or mobile apps, look here! API is very strong.
Rocking API and integration tools for web apps. Real collaboration and file sharing. Secure and fast cloud. Desktop sync.
Needs integration with Microsoft Dynamics suite (has Office365!). Not inexpensive. More API tools around security.

It was not very good. It is not difficult to use it individually, the problem is when you try to work together
It is safe. If you are working with Microsoft things get a little bit easier.
It is not easy to work together with colleagues and update documents at the same time. Therefore, many people end up downloading documents, updating them and then uploading the documents again. That is not practical at all. So inconvenient.

As someone involved in clinical research, Box makes it extremely easy to create project folders with many different types of documents (word, pdf, excel, ppt) all in a HIPAA compliant manner. Additionally, the advanced components of the share features allow certain documents to be restricted based on someone’s role on our team.
Being able to use Microsoft programs is the greatest advantage, especially compared to Google drive.
Slightly more difficult to collaborate, especially when it comes to people editing the same document at the same time. It seems like the document doesn’t always sync up correctly and multiple versions end up getting saved.

Once Box partnered with Microsoft it became far more powerful and a better competitor than it ever was before. Box probably has the best collaboration for businesses in terms of using Sharepoints and ensuring multiple copies of a file aren't flying all over the place. Microsoft still has many improvements to make to their Office online applications so this will improve Box over time too. It is only my second favorite because I personally love Google Drive with Docs/Sheets/etc. for instant real-time collaboration with export capabilities to just about any format.
The best part of Box is its partnership with Microsoft for collaboration and ease of creating new documents.
Office online is not a full replacement for Office yet so Box is not a one-stop solution.

in total, all of my colleagues are really satisfied that's why even we're using Microsoft we haven't used its feature for file management.
This product is awesome for companies who need to have a reliable, safe place for their documents, I can count some of its great features compared to the competitors:1.easy use and great way of sharing both internally and externally2.having the online editor which holds the history of files (Word, PowerPoint, etc) which makes extremely helpful for troubleshooting.3.it has great reports that you can see your last status easily.4.it can be integrated easily to your existing single sign-on solutions like okta which makes it even more powerful.5.great collaboration ability and security features.
We were trying to use the Box sign feature, however after investigation we found out it doesn't have some of our legal requirments.

Box integrates well with Microsoft Office products and is easy to use. Very few bugs, and the syncing among team members is relatively reliable.
Box is a great platform that works well for my team. The feature to share documents with specific people, and it's integration with Microsoft File Explorer is seamless. Very well executed.
When multiple people are editing the same document, it often creates duplicate files. This can often lead to a cluttered folder that becomes unorganized. However, this is easy to fix.
