Pros

The proposals and invoicing are seamless. I also use the time stopwatch for clocking freelance hours which seamlessly translate to an invoice for billing which is amazing.
I loved using this to manage projects as it was really clear. It was fun to create the mood boards that is available to do and use the floor plans too create models and them see in 3D.
The messaging features and leads features are very helpful, and I like the concierge. I haven't used the estimate feature because we have our own system for that, but I like that it exists.

Pros

The tech support team is always a pleasure to work with, so eager to help with great patience.
The notifications that it is able to manage is very helpful. The capability to link with my customers as well as all the subcontractors is fantastic.
Integration with other programs is a great asset. Also, other tools such as the scheduling, RFIs, and Redline are a great tool as well.

Cons

Being directly connected to a potential client by a computer on the phone, when they have no idea who you are or why your are calling at what is usually an inconvenient time for them.
I have had a few spam encounters recently and the # of leads I receive has dropped.
But the automatic responses are irritating as they continue to ask you to respond when that's already be done. The program doesn't follow through as you move through the process.

Cons

The Google Calendar integration and its inability to work only one direction is one of these. Keeping track of what syncs automatically or manually between Suite and Online is frustrating too.
Poor screen layout, poor interaction with construction online, project notices go out under “constructiononline.com” address and goes directly into many client/venders junk mail and is not seen.
It is a bit frustrating that there are 2 separate programs to have to maintain in order to completely utilize the program. It just seems to be more work than what it should have to be.

Pros

Allows to handle documents and permissions very easy. Its works perfectly in IPad and IPhone. The vendor keep users updated with effective communications tools

Cons

None. At this time we are very pleased with the product. We started as free users and upgraded to Pro.

Pros

customer support is awesome. Love the scheduling and project logging, we use it everyday. Trying to make use of the other pro features. We dont engage our subs using the software (too intrusive) but internally we are beginning to create a system using CO.

Cons

with many jobs going on, stuff like internal to do's are tough to keep organized. Wish the apps were not all separate.

BEST ONLINE TOOL to Manage your Construction Team

Pros

Right now I have the PRO USER service...for me, and for my company it has been VERY helpful to develop, document and organize the Construction/Owner Team. Is is easily accessed from PC, Mobiles, Tablets....there is on excuse that you can't have documents right away.

Cons

Right now...there is nothing I don't like....but there are things that could be done and would be better. Integration of MEETING MINUTES to document weekly/monthly meetings would be great!!! Addition of a feature that lets you keep track of Construction Drawings would be excelent!! Right now I am using the FILES to upload the construction documents....but it doesn't help me much when trying to track which version of a construction document page was updated.

Good set of tools that seem to always be improving

Cons

UDA online seems to push pro user which i have so it seems odd to constantly remind me to get something i already have. It appears that UDA online is looking to take over the desktop suite which im all for, just waiting on the estimating portion of online to catch-up to desktop version

Pros

I haven't gotten too far into the program, but it is very user friendly without initial training. the tech staff is very helpful in explaining the program features, and they have some nice tutorials if you need to learn something more in-depth.

Cons

it sounds like you need multiple licenses to use the UDA software to its best ability, one for the UDA construction Pro desktop program, and one for the UDA ConstructioOnline features, allowing the mobile access. consolidating that into a program upgrade and us only needing to maintain one account/license makes it, as a user, a lot more streamlined and manageable.

Pros

UDA ConstructionOnline was very easy to use and navigate. As I was setting the system up and learning how to navigate through all of the features, the customer service/help desk team was always there to answer my questions. If the person that answered the phone could not help me, then they always found a person that could.

Cons

A pro/con about the product is that there are a lot of different sections which allows for a lot of different types of activities to be performed within the same platform. I liked the option to update properties through the app, but I didn't like that all of the different activities usually took many clicks to get to the right place. It would be helpful if the site was more integrated and allowed for information to be transferred from Punch List to Schedule to Game Plan to To-Do more easily. Seemed like I was setting up the same information in four different places and that can be time consuming.
