Cubase FAQs

Q. What is Cubase used for?

Cubase is an on-premise music production software designed to help businesses produce new tracks, modify audio files, and implement custom workflows to streamline various operations across projects via a unified portal. The platform includes a quantize panel, which enables users to manage pitch, tempo, distribution, and arrangement of audio across multiple tracks using warp markers. The chord pads in Cubase allows musicians to manage composition parameters to edit chords, jam with chords and patterns, play tracks using MIDI controller, and optimize chords’ performance by modifying tension, voicings, and other factors. It offers a host of features such as spectral comparison, scale assistant, sample tracks, colorized mixer channels, batch exporter, notepad, latency monitoring, and more. Composers can also create personalized workspaces using custom sizes, position, and windows and dialogs to manage multiple projects. The built-in project browser allows music creators to view and edit available projects, events, and tracks and find and organize content using the MediaBay tool. Cubase also lets users hide or show tracks and export FX, groups, MIDI, audio, and video tracks into archives.
