Confusing and disruptive updates

Self employer

I used doodle for over a year now, at first its older format was so very easy and perfect, I just loved it. But after the updates this new format is so very confusing, high cost and very dismal performance.

president

The recent upgrade were not as user friendly as the older version.

61% of reviewers feel negative about Updates. Reviewers indicate that recent updates have made the platform less intuitive and sometimes slower. Some users report compatibility issues with browsers or devices and feel that the update process can disrupt their workflow or reduce the tool’s effectiveness.

Limited and clunky mobile experience

51% of reviewers feel negative about Mobile Access. They report that using Doodle on a phone is often frustrating, especially for complex polls.

Account and access frustrations

Researcher

on my first time experience i felt bit annoying in loginin my account because of lack of instructions that makes it a bit difficult to use.

Team member

It does not have many cons, the only thing I could find is that when you want to schedule an informal thing with few people, having to have the app and a Google account is maybe inconvenient for some people.

38% of reviewers feel negative about User Accounts. Users think the requirement to create accounts or log in for certain features is inconvenient, especially for informal or one-time use. Reviewers indicate that tracking responses or editing entries can be difficult without an account. They say the process of registering or managing access links can be confusing, and some are wary of sharing personal information. Some users report that first-time participants may struggle with login instructions or experience difficulties retrieving previous polls.

Intrusive advertising in free version

Graduate Assistant

There's not a lot that is bad about doodle but the UI is a bit of an eyesore and in the free version the advertisement placement can be deceiving, to the point where responders may miss options in the poll.

86% of reviewers feel negative about Ad-Free Experience. Users think the abundance of ads in the free version is distracting and makes navigation difficult. Reviewers indicate that advertisements can clutter the interface, obscure poll options, and even slow down devices. They report that the push for premium upgrades and constant banners can detract from the overall usability of the platform.

Cluttered and overwhelming interface

Poor display when there are a lot of options, which means seemingly infinite scrolling, and did I mention so much clicking?

It saves on sending numerous emails back and forth resulting in some people forgetting to "Reply to All".
