Overall I prefer to use Google Forms for simple questionnaires or to collect feedback from customers.
SurveyMonkey has all the features and is also easy to use but I just seems less intuitive than Google forms.
Setting up forms just takes more time than in Google Forms. Things that are free in Google Forms are paid features in SurveyMonkey.

Super easy to make polls and surveys, and the distribution process is quick. I like the overall look of the surveys as well - clean and professional.
None! I would highly recommend using SurveyMonkey over Microsoft Forms/Google Forms.

This was good until google forms was invented then it became second best. Highly recommend google forms over this.
There was a free version, people with the link could take the survey on their own devices
It costed money for the free version, it’s not as good as google forms

I would continue to use it. It has the ability to randomize which is useful to me as a teacher.
Using this service gets feedback quickly with reliable links. It is super easy to set up and is user friendly. It provides insightful data. I like the benchmarks it gives.
I don’t see major cons, but there are some other services that are comparable like Google forms. I believe Google forms has more rules though.

SurveyMonkey is very easy to use to create surveys to gain answers and opinions from others in order to make decisions that people are happy with.
I do prefer Google Forms simply because it integrates better with Google Drive and the other Google programs I use.

Overall, I am satisfied with it for the use of collecting feedback and easily comparing it online.
If needing quick feedback and have the contacts to send it to, then survey monkey provides for an efficient way to do so. It is relatively easy to use and then compare the data.
Compared to other services such as [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and google forms, there lacks a bit of functionality possibilities; such as the personalisation from landbot and the exporting in google forms.

Love answering polls on SurveyMonkey. Google Forms better watch out.
Well SurveyMonkey is here to stay. Its super easy to use and easy to answer polls. I have never used the software to create polls but answering them is great.
There is nothing I dislike about SurveyMonkey, maybe the over use of green but I guess that can be changed.

I've used SurveyMonkey when I wanted to get opinions from our past and potentiel clients about our company.
SurveyMonkey's been around for years and there's a reason why; it's intuitive, well-designed, user-friendly, and super easy to use. I've used it many times in the past for one-time survey uses.
For many reason, I have recently switched from this software to Google Forms to collect surveys on the regular. With Google Forms, I can embed my survey directly to my website and collect answers as they come in, all merging seamlessly with my Google Sheets. For these features which I have yet to find in Survey Monkey, I prefer Google Forms

SurveyMonkey provides professional survey software with built in analytics. It's easy to configure the right way to ask a question.
Free alternatives such as Google forms exist, making the space highly competitive.

Quick and easy way to poll a group of respondents on a number of questions and gather their feedback in an organized format.
While SurveyMonkey used to be the only option, Google Forms has largely overtaken it, and is free. Doodle for scheduling and Google Forms for gathering data would be my recommendations in today's market.

SurveyMonkey is great. So easy to use and set up, super simple to integrate into your website or email campaigns. I mostly did the latter, but had coworkers who used it for the former and they reported the same!
I think Google Forms really takes care of a lot of the same things, but it doesn't integrate as well as SurveyMonkey - so not really a con, but Google Forms is extremely similar.

Good
The graphical interface of the forms are sleek and compelling. Also, offers more options than Google forms.
Doesnt have any option to authenticate user's identity and ensure only single entries per user can be received.

SurveyMonkey has been around for a long time because it's reliable and great software.
I like SurveyMonkey because I can create many types of poles for my coworkers to use when deciding on work related events and the visualization is extremely helpful and intuitive
The only downside to SurveyMonkey is that it doesn't integrate as well as google forms does with my google account.

Best application for surveys and really good integration.
The integration the application has wtih Google sheets, office Reports, Trello, hubspot and google forms.

Overall it’s easy to use survey software with more flare than google forms.
Most companies I have worked for have used survey monkey to send all sorts of surveys out. The interface is easy to navigate regardless of someone’s tech skill level.
There really aren’t any cons that’s I’ve seen. There’s nothing glaringly negative about survey monkey.

Way nicer looking than SurveyMonkey.
Google forms is the easiest free form app out there. From collecting applications, to simply polling friends about vacation dates, I use it for everything!
I know for folks who don’t have a gmail or love google as much as I do, they have told me it’s not as friendly to submit? All heresy, since I have gmail.

Google forms is fun and easy to use. We don't really use it a lot with our customers and clients, but we do use it for collaboration within our team - making sure our internal atmosphere is where it should be. It's free and it provides quick solutions and reporting on our internal team issues or agendas.
Google Forms is great, it's free, and it almost does everything the larger "poll taking" software can do.
Not as versatile for all applications or social media use - as say - SurveyMonkey - but great nonetheless!

I am on the executive board for my school's club tennis team and I use Google Forms about once a month to organize matches, socials, and volunteer events. The user interface is straight forward and you can mark certain questions as mandatory. I am very appreciative the software is free, though I would be willing to pay a subscription fee since it helps me be much more productive.
- Great for basic surveys - Backside data compilation is clean any neatly displayed on Google Sheets - Can have multiple admins get results as they pile in
- Limited question types - Limited design options (ex. background color) - Does not prove as many analytics as SurveyMonkey

a very good free tool for surveys, polls, etc. it is especially useful if you want to integrate with other Google products like Google Sheets.
- super easy to use, can be used for survey, polls, registration - perfect for doing simple survey and polls, good for small business or classrooms - as made by Google, it does integrate with other Google products, we can export the results into Google Spreadsheets and then share with other Google users. Also, we can use Google notification for each new response.
- functionality is similar to the free version of SurveyMonkey but definitely not as good compare with the Paid version of SurveyMonkey. - survey answer has to be chosen from pre-formatted options. It is good for simply surveys but may have an issue for fancy one

I've used Google Forms for years and will continue to do so because of its reliability, ease of use, and feature set.
My favorite thing about Google Forms is how easy it is to use. Given that I only need to create forms and surveys on an infrequent basis, it's easy to pick back up after a long time away from the tool.
Google Forms is lacking where some of the other form specialty tools like SurveyMonkey and TypeForm excel.

I would recommend for professional use, but for personal ones I rather use SurveyMonkey.
I'm not that used to doing surveys, but using Google Forms it is fairly easy. It's intuitive to change the answer type, open new sections and so on.
I think my main concern about GForms is the sheets that it has as a result. It's not formatted and don't help analyse the data.
