What is Trivia?
Trivia is a gamification add-on designed to help businesses using Microsoft Teams, Slack and Google Chat improve collaboration and communication among remote teammates through social games such as quizzes, word puzzles, custom polls, Pictionary, and more.
Team using Slack can use Trivia to deploy engaging games including (Un)popular opinions, This or That, and Game of Gotcha on a digital workspace. The application helps maintain leaderboards with summarized results for each quiz, allowing managers to facilitate competition and bonding among team members. It also offers a virtual water cooler, which lets remote teams conduct peer introductions, impromptu meetups, networking, and social discussions.
Trivia provides a quiz master module, which enables businesses create themed quizzes for teams, control the flow of questions according to preferences. Administrators can activate and deactivate Trivia in specific channels of Slack and configure notifications for weekly challenges or announcements.
