What is MSP360 Connect?
MSP360 Connect provides remote desktop access and remote support for Windows and macOS computers. Desktop applications are available for Windows and macOS, with mobile clients for iOS and Android. MSP360 Managed Connect supports browser-based sessions from a centralized web console; a Connect agent must be installed and configured on the remote computer.
Remote sessions support screen viewing and control, multi-monitor navigation, and in-session communication. The Windows desktop application includes file transfer, session recording with playback, and simultaneous connections to multiple computers. WebRTC technology supports real-time Windows remote sessions. Connect Pro and Managed Connect provide unattended access to Windows PCs and servers using authorized credentials.
Managed Connect provides centralized computer organization, administrator permissions, company-level access controls, bulk agent deployment, and session-usage reporting. Technicians can launch Windows and macOS connections in a browser or the desktop application. Multiple administrators can join the same attended session, and Windows support tools include remote printing, screen blanking, and remote input locking.
Security features include encrypted connections, configurable session approval methods, custom passwords for Windows access, and two-factor authentication for the Managed Connect console. Administrators can restrict technician access to assigned customer companies and control who can establish remote sessions.
Through the MSP360 platform's HaloPSA integration, technicians can launch Connect sessions from mapped asset records. This integration requires an MSP360 Backup or RMM agent on integrated endpoints.
Connect Free is designed for personal, attended access. Connect Pro serves small businesses needing unattended Windows access. Managed Connect serves MSPs and IT departments requiring centralized administration and includes 24/7 technical support. Feature availability and file-transfer limits depend on the edition, operating system, and connection method.
