Pros

The VPN feature is amazing i use it with usb redirector and it works great i can control the computer and the usb eith the vpn and usb director yogether i love that feature.
It helps on easy to use interface with a powerful remote features. Its fast and easy to navigate through the interface with a quick support to desktop, which is amazing.
The easy to use application is so simple to learn and navigate. The ability to tackle projects even when your not physically at the office is fantastic.

Pros

It's super easy to use and straightforward. Very intuitive interface to interact with and works like a charm.
This is a great program that allows you to truly connect with your team and friends, the price is great and free.
I love that the app runs from the browser and does not need to be installed on the PC. I also love that it does not have a time limit and is very easy to use.

Cons

Occasionally there are errors, we get bumped from a server, or we have to restart a machine locally to re-connect -- but those issues are few & fear between. This is an issue maybe ~2% of the time.
I tried to cancel last year just be told it was done incorrectly (wasn’t processed by them) not that they admitted this. I was forced to pay a credit agency with the threat of penalties.
Sometimes it gets a little unstable, but I think the problem is more on the internet than on the program itself.

Cons

I hate that when I'm presenting, I can no longer see the person I'm talking to. And I wish it automatically opened a new window rather than just a tab that can get lost if I have too many open.
I had many fake accounts from Africa try to entice me into lovers scams. Since rebranding, to Google meet it has been hacked twice this week.
I dislike seeing it when people are presenting something because it is a distraction and gets in the way of the display.

Teamviewer resolves many problems like workstation remotely, troubleshooting purposes support mobile devices also.

Pros

Team Viewer is the best platform for remote access. I am using team viewer for the last 4 years and due to the Covid-19, my company is using Team Viewer full time for the work session. It's a very lightweight software and the speed of access is very fast.

Cons

Nothing dislike for this software. We love this software as compare to Google Meet and Zoom Meet, Zoho Meeting.

Best tool for remote support

First time it’s difficult to install it and explain to the client how to use it but after some sessions it becomes something very useful and allows us to get remote control help them to perform some operations or debug when needed.

Pros

We use it for doing remote support to some clients. It’s very useful when there are some operations with digital certificate that requires remote control, because they cannot share its certificate with us.

Cons

It requires to be installed by the client and sometimes it makes it difficult in comparison with other collaboration tools such as google meet. Google meet does not provide remote control so it’s ok anyway.

Good overall, frienly user, but there are better options. I used it for a while, for screen sharing, but now I switched to Google Meet.

Pros

Cons

No mobile compatible Its good but there are other conference call apps with much better value for money, like Microsoft Teams , Google Meet, GoToMeeting and Zoom Meetings

Works well, but consider your other options

Overall it is a good tool. But there are other options depending on your use case. VNC is a very old and workable technology. These days you can use other tools like Zoom Video calls or Google Meet to get a lot of the same features for free.

Pros

TeamViewer is definitely easy to start with and you can learn to use it pretty quickly. The communication between the user and software is adequate to make it seem easy. It also works pretty well for screensharing and remote control.

Cons

The integration of the tool with Android was not the easiest and we had a very bumpy ride getting it to work with our Android devices.

If you work remotely or need to meet remotely, this program is a MUST. The software is simple to install and use. I can access my work computer from any remote computer with the software installed on it. I can share presentations or allow others to remotely control my computer when the need arises. Perfect for when you need technical assistance.

Teamviewer was employed as a means to troubleshoot software which was operating a piece of equipment. To start a session our user would record and relay a code to the company who was seeking to gain access to our system in order to administer repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Pros

I liked how easy it was to start a team viewer session. The process also seemed to be very secure. which is always something to consider when allowing an entity outside of your company access to your computers/data.

Cons

I cannot think of any real cons. The application performed as expected to meet our needs. We only used the most basic features of the program.

Helps with my daily remote support needs

Experience overall has been great, it's helped meet my companies remote support needs, our technical staff can just remote into other employees devices.

Pros

I like the file transfer feature that allows me to easily transfer files to my colleagues machines. The voicecall feature also helps a ton

Cons

I dislike the occasional latency which is experienced whilst using the software, thats the only real downside

My overall experience was positive and I would say for anyone having to meet with 3 or more people, I would highly recommend it.

Pros

I love that you can operate TeamViewer from the phone as well as the computer. Aside from this, TeamViewer showed up really clearly, better than I remember Skype showing up, and has a bunch of cool options on how people can show up or not show up in the actual chat. Back at my office, I had two different screens and so being able to have a meeting and still access my work was amazing. We would routinely share screens through TeamViewer to portray important sales trends on one another's computers.

Cons

Sometimes, TeamViewer would not allow my computer to link up to the meetings because it would not allow me to have saved the previous meeting ID or it would require some sort of update that it would not tell me about. Usually, I could restart my computer or just not use it for a few days and the problem would fix itself, but customer service was no help as all they wanted me to ever do was restart or update my computer anyway.

It has saved me a lot of money ( travel) and time... I don't have to travel to teach. it does away with the risk of moving around with the laptop. I can work within the confines of my office.

This software has made teaching clients easy without me having to travel/ meet up with clients. I can guide my clients easily without having to hold their hands.

Attimes, connection may be lost , which makes the process a little tasking.

Mostly i had no problems at all. I've been using it maybe more than 5 years.

Pros

TeamViewer is really easy and quick tool. I mostly used it to support my friends and colleagues when they are out of my reach. I rarely used it's file transfer to transfer needed files, notes etc.

Cons

I feel like it should turn voice off at the start of the sessions. Because mostly the accesser and the computer's owner are already speaking through another tool like Discord, skype, meet etc.

This tools definitely can help with customer support and makes a phone call much easier when you and the customer can see the same screen.

Pros

Setting up the software is a breeze and you are up and running in minutes. Allows you to remote desktop into another computer with ID and password. File transfers are very easy to perform and multiple people can view the same desktop for group interactions.

Cons

Very pricey and versions must match between local and remote computers which can be an issue if you have purchased an older version license. Also, there are other free alternatives that could meet your needs.

Overall, it does the work pretty well. I would recommend this for anyone.

Pros

The video quality is beyond doubt the best. Google servers are the best, and they use those servers and give the best video quality even on low bandwidth.

Cons

I think more features can be added. Like zoom, or microsoft teams, or teamviewer. All the good features can be added.

The quality of the meeting is amazing. However, there can be extra tools to have a better interaction like remote access.

Pros

The quality of the meeting is perfect and the ability to take notes good.

Cons

Tools such as remote access can make the tool a lot better.

Remote work made easy.

Pros

Easy to use. With the last jamboard integration you can have interactive sketch and brainstorming sessions.

Cons

Some of our customers with Browsers different to Chrome expereinced problems.

Pros

Hangouts is a great collaboration tool, pretty much everyone has a Google account these days so it's seamless to invite people and not force them to sign up for another service. My experience has been great, fast with very few issues on sound & video quality.

Cons

No complaints, it's a great option for bringing remote people together for meetings

Great for remote working.

Pros

As someone who works remotely very often, this makes attending meetings easy. No issues with connectivity, sound or video.

Cons

Other members in hangout I've been in have had issues but I've not experience them.

Great software! Easy and useful!

Many times is difficult make a videocall with clients who don't have the usuals software for comunication: Skype, TeamViewer, for example. So, Hangouts it's a better option that Facebook Call or Whatsapp.

Pros

It's easy to use, very intituive. The meetings are very easy and fast to organizate, using shared link. The quality of sound maybe are not the best but are good enough. The video depende of your hardware.

Cons

Some options of TeamViewer to make reunions are good to add. Personalization of the calls, organizate the contacts, and other options for example.

Hangouts is a perfect solution to remote work and meetings

Use for remote meetings and interviews

Pros

Google hangouts is integrated with all other Google services, so it makes using it with other things like slides and documents easy, and allows you to access contact to team members and those working on projects. It is quite reliable and effective.

Cons

Like all video conferencing, it is only as good as your internet connection on both sides. That said Google has done a decent job of being a step up from other competitions. Still, it can be somewhat unreliable at times.

Our go-to video conferencing tool

We use Google Meet hangouts all day every day for remote staff, client meetings, "dialing" remote people in, and interoffice communication.

Pros

Meet hangouts just work. We use them reliably with video, and with audio-only calls or any mixture. The call setup is reliable and the call quality is generally very good, even on mobile 3G.

Cons

To run Hangouts with both screensharing and video simultaneously requires joining the hangout multiple times. This is possible but cumbersome compared to Zoom.

A solid and trusted resource for remote work that has been essential through the pandemic.

Pros

The ease of access to get into a meeting without having to download any software. Having the ability to screenshare simultaneously from more than one user. Having a "Jam Board" where it's a editable digital whiteboard to collaborate on ideas and is autosaved.

Cons

Not having the ability to remote access a users computer to assist with trouble shooting.

Video conferences and meetings with remote employees

Pros

The ease of doing video calls and conferences. Google Hangouts can be used with our regular gmail id. Also it allows audio calls.

Cons

Can be better integrated with Apple and also can be tricky to sync contacts via phone. Would like it to have an easier way to see how to add someone by phone if needed.

Essential Tool for Remote Working

I've had a good experience with Google Meet and prefer to use this over any other video software.

Pros

Google Meet is extremely easy to integrate into Google Calendar, which is an essential tool used at my firm. The generated links are easy to use and the quality of video has been good.

Cons

I wish there were more customizable backgrounds, only because it would make remote meetings more exciting!

This software made it much easier to stay connected to remote employees and easily set up / jump into meetings at a moment's notice.

Pros

Extremely user-friendly. Great for meetings at head office with some people working remote. Also works very well when everyone is remote.

Cons

We had some technical issues with the box - video would sometimes turn itself off or automatically mute upon entering a meeting.
