Ansible Automation Platform overview

What is Ansible Automation Platform?

Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform is a cloud-based IT automation tool, which assists organizations with system configuration, software deployment, cloud provisioning, zero downtime rolling updates, and various other routine tasks.

The solution’s automation services catalog grants access to resources available across physical, virtual, cloud, and container environments. IT teams can request new automation projects with details such as CPU limits, requests, or memory limits and track the requested orders by their approval statuses or date of order. The dashboard helps supervisors collect and analyze data, receive health notifications about expiring clusters, generate reports on the status of deployments, and monitor pending or failed jobs.

Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform offers integration with various third-party applications such as Arista, Splunk, Jenkins, Microsoft Azure, Fortinet, and more. Network engineers can use the platform to configure network stack, test and validate existing states, and correct configuration drifts. It also enables users to invoke a module or unit of code within a task, discover when non-stateful commands get utilized, and rectify automation behaviors.
