What is Ariscu?
Ariscu is a web-based solution to identify, define, track, and assure an adequate GRC status in line with the client industry, jurisdiction, geography, complexity, and strategy consisting of the following features and functionality:
1) Legal library: A large repository of downloadable HSE, GDPR, POPIA, food, and carbon legislation, repealed legislation documents, and resources e.g. guideline documents and policies with change history for all supported countries.
2) Compliance registers: Customer specific, monthly updated, alphabetically categorized, obligation specific, layman's terms translated, documentation referenced, risk linked, and audit history accessible compliance registers including but not limited to:
a) Health & Safety registers: Legal registers in English, French, and Portuguese in 18 different countries, mainly in Africa, including a good safety register for South Africa.
b) Environmental registers: Legal registers in English, French and Portuguese in 18 different countries, mainly in Africa, including a carbon emissions register.
c) Quality registers: ISO 9001 (2015), 14001 (2015), 27001 (2018), 45001 (2015), IATF (2016), ICMM/GMSG with checklists and templates.
d) Private information protection registers: GDPR, SOC, POPIA currently utilized in Africa, Europe and North America.
e) Governance registers: King IV-based register to assist medium-sized non-listed entities in monitoring and coordinating internal corporate and managerial compliance levels.
3) Integrated modular compliance management capability to enable a variety of compliance management approaches
a) Audit and compliance exposure management: Flexible onsite and offline capability to collect documents and non-conformance evidence, facilitate internal and external compliance audits, calculate legal and operational compliance exposure and compare results (you, site, register, industry or section) to inform executive and operational decisions and actions.
b) Checklist and template application: Enables utilization, customization or development of international standards, industry standards or client-specific policy checklists and templates to ensure activities, facilities and assets remain in line with the management plan. Functionality includes custom content, fields, scoring and artifacts with mobile-enabled access.
c) Non-conformance manager: The initiation of all preventative or corrective actions, uploading of relevant documents and images, tracking actions taken by anyone involved recorded in a timeline and reported by type, location, status and responsible person.
d) Records manager: Track all assets/resources, customize information fields, upload artefacts, view information cards, filter information, configure notifications
e) Document repository: Paperless storage of legal and operational documentation with easy and secure access including configuration management, linking (registers, audits, checklists, non-conformances), unlimited storage, allocated ownership, expiration notification and profile-based editing.
f) Task manager: Schedule once-off or recurring tasks linked to audits, checklists, templates, non-conformances and updates/reviews. Functionality includes categorizing, prioritizing, assigning and setting intervals and reporting for each and all task(s) and owner(s).
g) Risk register and manager: Generating legal, enterprise and operational risks, integration with all platform modules, full audit trail, formulas and color-coded cells, information filtering, documentation and reporting
4) Mobility: Device-independent access and utilization of functionality for convenient reference to and capturing of relevant information and data.
5) Reporting and analysis: Customizable integrated modular, cross-modular client site or enterprise-specific analysis, reporting and forecasting with external system data integration.
