Pros

It's a nice incentive to encourage cost savings for the company and really nice for employees if you aren't too particular about your lodgings.
The ease of use and functionality is great and it makes it easy to track where your reports are at and when it has been approved.
I really enjoy expensify and everything it encapsulates. It's easy, and quite frankly, effective and I recommend to everyone.

Pros

Divvy integrates with Quickbooks which is super helpful. Divvy rewards program fits our organization much better than previous rewards programs.
Very user friendly and the ability to track and capture departmental expenditures is excellent. Customer service is always available and very helpful when I call.
Stable, secure, and very intuitive app that helps you to track all the receipts. The ability to issue virtual cards.

Cons

Our company have multiple entities in the US and in EU and expensify does not support this, the integration with xero is a mess i don't understand how does it work...My overall experience is bad.
Criminal billing practices. I barely used the software and they are charging me for a year subscription and won't let me cancel.
They violate their own privacy policy by sending out non-product related information to their customer base. This violates the agreement that they make you sign.

Cons

We very frequently (more than once per week, have charges declined when paying our vendors. The ACH and Bill Pay process work very, badly.
The only complaint I have at this point is that we cannot set limits for receipts.
A little hard to figure out how budgets and card limits and other maximums interact. What they also really need to add: vendor restriction.

The "smart" receipt scanning feature, even if it's not actually artificial intelligence it still helps speed up input and categorization.

Cons

Pricing based on # reports submitted encourages users to accumulate large expense reports and submit them all at once. Spending controls are still after the fact (unlike real-time spend controls offered by Divvy and Brex).

Pros

Expensify was quick to pick up and leverage for expense services. It's a great tool to use when you are tight on your budget and need a quick and not so expensive service to use for expenses.

Cons

I found other software like SAP Concur (higher tier / more expensive) or Divvy (comparable in price and service) better expense tracking software. Divvy was much easier to use and had a lot of great functionality that I feel Expnesify was lacking.

Pros

I love the fact that it tracks employees business expenses easily. It has a great UI for users like me and it's easy to manage. Am able to submit and approve expense reports especially when my clients are traveling. It offers a self-service setup with dedicated support making my job easier

Cons

Its customer service only favours large companies bt small businesses or self-employed like me we can only receive support through chat or mail. So it is challenging when something complex needs to change

Expensify has made my monthly reports so much simpler. I am immensely thankful for this software.

Pros

I cannot express how much I love the ease of use of Expensify. Being able to snap a picture or forward my receipts has made life so much easier.

Cons

I'm not a huge fan of the extra expense to reimburse myself. It's a marginal complaint but it's easier to write a check then spend extra money.

Expensify has been great for the organization since it established a clear patterns on approval process on business expenses. Also, it has reduced the amount of paperwork needed to settle accounts.

Pros

Its very easy to use. It works on all platfroms (mobile, web, tablet) You can take a picture of the tickets and it automatically detects the numbers.

Cons

The camera feature doesnt work really well. Not enough alerts to remind you to expense all of your spend (its hard to be on top of this when you are working)

Makes expense management easy with my company!

The overall experience has been quite good. I am expecting more features from Expensify though

Pros

1. The best thing I like about Expensify is it's smart scanner. If forward a bill or receipt to expensify, it will automatically scan it and create an expense for me, by filling the amount and the vendor. It also attached the bill email as attachment in the expense. That makes my life a lot easier! 2. The next best thing I love about Expensify is it's rules. When I create an expense, I can create a rule out of it. Next time if a similar expense comes up, the rule will be used to populate the required fields. This leads to me typing almost nothing. Just mouse clicks 3. It also warns me about duplicate receipts of sorts and asks me to review it! 4. It makes sure I am following the policy rules while creating expenses or reports, and gives me a warning and an error about it

Cons

1. The smart scanner takes a lot of time to actually scan the emails I send. It does scan it in sometime, but I would like it to be quicker, rather than loading for so much time. 2. The suggestions feature in the expense section is not good. The suggestions search exactly based on what I type and look for prefixes. Instead I expect the search to be a fuzzy search, as it's tough for me remember the correct option to choose without knowing the name.

It saves me a lot of time and hassle. I am much more organised when travelling and more confident that I am submitting all of my expenses and not losing money!

Pros

Using Expensify has helped me keep on top of my travel expenses by scanning the receipt on the go. I no longer have a huge build up of receipts in my wallet or spend half a day filling in expense reports. It's quick and easy to upload an expense and create reports. I like that I get notified when my expenses are approved.

Cons

It can be a bit slow sometimes to scan and read the receipts, especially if they are in other languages. Sometimes it is easier to cancel the scanning and enter the details manually. Occasionally reports are submitted automatically without me doing so which is a little bit annoying

It allowed our company to switch from manual expense reporting to automated expense reporting. We are now switching to a better expense reporting tool.

Pros

Anyone that has a basic understanding of technology can just load the app and use it to submit reports.

Cons

While Expensify is super user friendly for end-users, the admin side of things is severally lacking. There are very few functions and configurations that can be made on the admin side. Also, the direct integration with QuickBooks Online is great and easy to use, but adding accounts in QuickBooks Online sometimes automatically adds accounts to certain expense policies in Expensify, but not all policies....

Expense reporting is easy with Expensify. But it is just that - expense reporting.

Pros

An easy way for corporate expense tracking and reporting. UI is very simple and intuitive. You can do it on the go which is convenient. I really appreciate how smooth and easy it is to update, upload, claim your expenses. Especially comapred to some large systems like SAP.

Cons

Some features are still missing, the automatic sync between credit card and Expensify could work better. You still have to do a lot manually.

Expensify allows users to quickly expense any reports needed. It's fast as we don't want to spend hours expensing our business travels, etc. The ability for the smart scan, do multiple expenses at once and quick field selections make it a seamless process.

Pros

Everything is clear and concise. Without much guidance, any user is able to do what the software is intended, which is to submit expense reports to get it approved. The best feature of this software are the different options to submit receipts.

Cons

There's not much tool tips or guidance throughout the application for a quick one-liner of what each filed is required as some terminology can be misleading.

Easy expense reports!

Pros

I really like how easy it is to upload pictures of receipts and then Expensify handles the rest. It parses data from receipts very accurately and I usually don't have to make many corrections.

Cons

The only complaint I have is that if you accidentally create a report I haven't been able to figure out how to delete them so I sometimes end up with an empty report hanging around in my account.

Streamlines business expense processing

Pros

It's really easy to use, when it works. Charges on my business credit card are automatically picked up as business expenses. If I have an expense I can take a picture of the receipt and have it pull the relevant information for reporting the expense. Assembling the expenses into expense reports is easy to accomplish.

Cons

When using a picture of a receipt, the app frequently struggles with identifying the expense information. I can often attribute the difficulty to the receipt (about half of the time) but there are times that it has difficulty with clear, concise receipts.

Time saved. Less time spent creating and submitting expense reports. Much easier to review other's expense reports.

Pros

Take photos of receipts and it automatically identifies the vendor, $ amount, and sometimes auto-categorizes. It pulls in bank and credit card feeds to generate expense reports with minimal manual work.

Cons

Sometimes the reports get auto-submitted before I'm ready to submit. It requires more backup than is often necessary.

Good Concept, Buggy Execution

Easy expense report submission.

Pros

I love the convenience of being able to submit work expenses for reimbursement in multiple categories and under different reimbursement schemes. The software facilitates automatic generation of reports and offers automatic submission as well, so I don't have to worry about categorizing or submitting my reports by month, pay period, etc. That can all be customized and automated. It also keeps track of the current reimbursement schemes offered by my company (i.e. current mileage reimbursement rates) so I don't have to manually keep track of that or enter it each time.

Cons

Because there are so many features to the software and customizable options, it loses a bit of the "user friendly" aspect. It also throws a lot of flags on certain expenses that I submit due to rules in the app that don't apply to that category of expenses (i.e. receipts are required for all expenses, but when I'm submitting a mileage expense, a receipt is not applicable). Quickly deployable expense system.

Pros

Easy to get started and simple to use. Much better than Concur at interfacing with QB. If it wasn't for the more robust interface tool, I wouldn't be using it at all.

Cons

Near zero support. Only option is a online chat and it takes them hours to respond. You can't call anyone to get a simple question answered. Very frustrating. Very limited credit card issuer import. If your bank is not on the list you have to manually configure and it won't let you split a single import and parse out to cardholders after importing transactions. You have to send each user their own card transaction file and they must upload individually. Receipts and expense items disappear without explanation sometimes and you must reload them.

Not a single moment of discomfort for a very long time.

My company asked me to try on my business trips, and to my surprise it took a weight from my shoulders. Trust me, there is a HUGE difference between reporting bills right here and now, and filling report after the trip. It is easy to forget what was this particular bill, whether you already reported it, and what if you just lost some bills? Never ever. I still tend to keep the bills until expenses are approved though and can't stop thinking may be I should stop. Many thanks to developers for making such a great product.

Pros

Most important thing: you got billed - you report it with app. This simple, right here and now you make a photo, and you are done! It picks the currency, expense right from the photo of the bill. Can't take a photo - no problem, expense may be filled manually. It doesn't seem to affect the mobile phone battery, it doesn't nag you with popups or unwanted ads (I can't express how much I hate it when paid application starts to throw additional promotions). The structure of application is easily understandable.

Cons

Can't point my finger on anything worth mentioning. May be, just may be the bill recognition could take a little less time. I had a case when it took about two days. Still it is quite good.

Usually, with a product with many features, the likely problem is usually that the UI is a little hard to use at first. There is a learning curve to the product. Sometimes I have issues with the smart scan but that could be caused by my cell phone camera.

This is great software to use when keeping track of personal and employee expense reports. It is easy for them to submit expense reports.

Cons

Expensify has made our expense reporting so much more simplified and saved everyone so much time.

Pros

Expensify is in my opinion the best expense option on the market. It is so easy to use and makes expense reports a breeze.

Cons

Not really anything I dislike about expensify, but what I like the least, is I wish the software was a little smarter and able to match expenses if the receipt date is a day or two off from the billing date.

Pros

Love Divvy! Free software, plus cash back rewards, and users love the experience of no more expense reports and just instantly coding their transaction when it pops up on their phone (used to be an Expensify customer).

Cons

Reimbursements don't have a way for managers to be notified to approve.
