As an individual consultant I often employ outsourced staff who are involved in designing the Business Plan documents. The biggest problem ww were usually faced with was working in correlation between our work processes. With all these wonderful tools of Microsoft Office, Dropbox, etc., it still could turn into a mammoth of task to complete the Business Plan in an efficient and timely manner. Never...

To address your concern: Yes, it works on-line only. However, you can still work off-line by preparing various kind of stuff (such as Excel worksheets, presentations etc) to be uploaded when you are re-connected to the Cloud. iPlanner is a great productivity tool for these understanding the basic concepts behind business planning, especially what comes to financial stuff. If you feel comfortable with accounting terms, you can create a complete business-financial plan in an hour. I'm a Business Consultant. I routinely use iPlanner to create business plans along with business models and financial projections in a collaborative way with my customers (small business owners, start-ups, investors, mentors, students).
- Professional tool for these understanding the concepts - Allows teamwork on plan creation - Rich functionality: business plan creation, financials, business model generation, business valuation, balanced scorecard, review meetings, etc -Great support - Affordable
- May feel a bit "complicated" for these not aware with basic accounting concepts and economic terms. - Works online only, no downloadable version available.

This is a truly viable solution to a problem of the collaboration on an exhaustive documents with multiple users. Prior to iPlanner's Strategy Designer we were using Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Google Drive for creating our strategic Business plans. Everything had seemed somewhat disconnected.
