What is Margill Loan Manager?
Margill Loan Manager is an Windows installed and Cloud-based loan servicing solution, which assists lenders with servicing multiple loan types whether these are simple or complex (see Instrument types at end).
Key features include interest computation, complex repayment scenarios (P&I, interest-only, fixed principal, mix of methods, lump sums, cash-flow adapted payment amounts), data import via Excel or JSON files, automatic rules-based fees, automatic reminders, fixed or variable interest rates, multi-currency, customizable reporting and revenue tracking.
The application lets users import borrower data, loan data and irregular payments from Excel sheets. Create custom fields and scroll menus. Its document merge tool helps teams produce contracts, letters, invoices, and statements, streamlining the loan origination process. Credit teams can automate the calculation of interest and fees, as well as post payments and fee details in bulk.
Margill Loan Manager integrates with third-party solutions such as QuickBooks, Sage, Acomba, and Excel, facilitating the export of accounting data to the general ledger.
It allows administrators to provide role-based access to team members, and manage login details for multiple users.
Managers can generate customizable reports with over 1000 fields: monthly (or other) activity, financial projections, transactions report, direct export to GL, Executive dashboard, payment schedules, Escrow reports and automatic reports.
For security, all activity is logged based on user, time, date, change. Logs are available for review by third-party systems for analysis.
