Both methods leverage SIM card and data plans to enable mileage, trips and routes tracking while the latter also adds “always on” vehicle security. From here Automile offers browser-based access to an intuitive permissions restricted dashboard where key fleet operations can be managed.
Plan and view Trips information with Google Maps-based routing feedback, receiving accurate vehicle locations in real time. Monitor fleet behaviors to improve safety and performance while minimizing increased maintenance or insurance costs incurred by reckless driving. Benchmark driver event to avoid accidents, use Geo-fencing tools to protect business assets and perform paperless vehicle inspections complete with note or photo attachments. Automile’s additional features go on to include the recording of trip expenses with proof of purchase for reimbursement, take delegation for issuing instant work orders, scheduling, plus useful notifications support across email, push or SMS.
