Pros and cons

Easy of use in patient care documentation and the management of good, clean medical records is of vital importance and ChiroFusion delivers on that need.
There is a lot to love about chirofusion, it is great to help get you organized and able to produce good complete SOAP notes.
It’s straightforward and fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. The customer service is awesome and everyone is so friendly.
It's irritating to put a new patient in the schedule and by the time you've entered all the required info, you've forgotten what time and date you were putting them on the schedule for.
During initial setup my information was entered wrong and there was a delay in payments from insurers. Also Chirofusion charges a different amount if you want phone support.
I was disappointed when I found out that there’s no way for patients to reschedule their appointments online. I thought patients would be able to control their appointments when they need to.

Overall Great System

Reviewed 4 years ago
Pros

Use this software daily, works good does freeze and reset itself quite often. However there are numerous features available. So, for the money the sytem is great!

Cons

How the system freezes almost daily and resets itself in the middle of a task.

Vendor response

Hi Heather! Thanks for your feedback! We're glad that you're enjoying your experience thus far :) In regards to the freezing issue you are experiencing... Our server health and performance is of utmost importance to us as we host to thousands of users daily. We have a dedicated team that monitors server performance with no reported issues and an average page loading time of 1.9 seconds. The issue you are experiencing could be due to other factors such as internet connectivity or hardware. With that said, our support team is happy to help investigate and diagnose such issues and we will reach out this week to provide you with more information.

Nice EHR

Reviewed 3 years ago

The company seems pretty helpful and are better than most ehr company’s when it comes to training and ease of use.

Pros

The notes are really easy and that’s why I bought it and why we use it.

Cons

We haven’t used the billing side and I would like to if it had good tracking but frankly I’ve never even looked at it because I have a billing company.

Great EHR but extremely poor support

Reviewed a year ago

Overall my experience was great until I had one major issue and asked to speak with someone from management and refused to speak with me. When I am spending $2500 a year and have an issue, the least they could do is to speak with me, admit there was an issue, apologize about it and work on it so that it does not happen again instead of just saying it was not major issue and most issues are resolved in a 24 hour period (Jessica B). Sadly, I will be switching if I do not hear back from them.

Pros

Great software for solo practice, very user friendly and cloud based which makes it user friendly. The options to integrate are all great but ofcourse they do add up in cost.

Cons

By far the worst customer service when it comes technical issues. For the last 6 months, we have had 8 incidents where the online scheduler had stopped working. In most cases it was resolved immediately but on two ocassionas it was down for almost 3 days which meant none of our patients could schedule an appointment and we had no clue it was down. When asking what was the issue, they respond with "we will investigate and get back to you" and they never do. Trying to speak with someone is impossible. They will not speal with you over the phone unless you pay $15 one time to just speak with someone.

Sadler Chiropractic Review of ChiroFusion

Reviewed 3 months ago

My overall experience has been great.

Pros

I like the dashboard and the information it supplies, especiall the notifications, it makes it easier to remebmer to go back and check on rejected claims or things that need posting. I like the ease of entering in and scheduling patients, easy to chart notes and bill insurance. I like how customer service reponds to any issues that may arise promptly.

Cons

The only con I have is that I seem to have problems from time to time when going back and refiling a claim it is hard to find or takes it a while to show up in billing.

Easy to use, once you get the hang of it

Reviewed 4 years ago

The training is great. The implementation team is very good. They are great at answering your questions. I would like more manuals and less videos (but that's just me)

Pros

I like the intuitiveness of the software, it all goes left to right, save at every interval. SOAP notes are easy to produce following the initial visit

Cons

Toggling between scheduling and documentation/billing could be a bit more seamless. It's irritating to put a new patient in the schedule and by the time you've entered all the required info, you've forgotten what time and date you were putting them on the schedule for.

Vendor response

Hi Jennifer! Thanks for your feedback! We love to hear that our implementation staff are providing great training and it's what we strive for! We do have the scheduler feature that allows access to scheduler from any screen. We will be sure to reach out and one of our staff will ensure you are getting the most of this feature!

Best Value in Chiropractic Software

Reviewed 2 years ago

I am still learning the software. I have 1, maybe 2 more training sessions to go. I can already see where things will completely be streamlined. I will be spending less time with both my SOAP notes and billing. I can finally focus on being a doctor.

Pros

I really like the ease of use and the training that has been provided. If there is something that I don't understand, they have plenty of videos online to rewatch. I haven't fully integrated into ChiroFusion, but it will make my life so much easier. Between the SOAP notes and the billing, this is by far the best software I have used.

Cons

None as of now. So far ChiroFusion is everything that I have been looking for, and it costs less than half of most software out there.

Best EHR Ever Used

Great program, easy to use and very Functional for our reporting needs.

Pros

EHR is simple to use, intuitive and quick to learn. Able to bring in macros for commonly used statements. Support is awesome and will respond by phone within 45 min of request. Billing is easy as the procedures are automatically added.

Cons

Would like to see the reports section expanded. Was advised that this is in the works and will be part of the next update.

Very happy with our office’s choice to switch!

Reviewed 3 years ago

Our office’s experience has been very pleasant. We have no remorse for making the switch.

Pros

As the office manager, a software that has the ability to keep me on task with billing and scheduling is of the utmost value. This is what I love most about ChiroFusion! The software is extremely easy to use and the training provided to help you get there is top notch.

Cons

If I had to express a concern it would be the inability for patients of the same family to share a common family email account. The team took this feature request to heart and hopefully it will be something we see in the future. Other than that, we are very happy!

Chiro Software At Its Best

Reviewed 3 years ago

So far, I don't ever plan on switching to a different provider. I've used about 3 other software systems, and this is by far the best!

Pros

I love the ease of use! It's so simple and intuitive to use that I am confident when I hire employees I won't spend more than maybe a day teaching them the ins and outs. The accessibility is also amazing. It's great being able to access your schedule from your phone when you're out and about!

Cons

There are times when the billing side of the software freezes up and becomes unresponsive, but generally this issue gets resolved within minutes.

2 DC office loves the software

Reviewed 3 years ago

Love being paperless.

Pros

Very user friendly. We had staff untrained on the software jump right on and use it. Good price point for the software and love that it is cloud based.

Cons

I don’t like how text messaging is an extra cost as well as another location. Adding another service address with the same providers shouldn’t double the monthly cost. We would like more options for reports and exporting patient lists.

CF improvements needed

See above cons list.

Pros

1. Value 2. Gui is pleasant, but needs personalized features for placing buttons and themes.

Cons

1. Login is redundant with TOS checkbox. 2. No way of saving templates 3. No way of duplicating dates of service 4. No customized features to change themes out button placement 5. Patient search is terribly limited.... Please adopt practice fusion input method for patient search. 6. Icd10 search could improve. I use Google first then import code into CF.

first week of using the software, and haven't done my 4 training sessions yet so far so good

Reviewed 5 years ago

Great price for what you get and was up and running quickly.

Pros

I like that the software is relatively easy to use. Once you get to know the flow, its pretty easy. I love that it is web based, so I can access it from anywhere. The overall look of the pages are very good and clear. I have written support a few times as I was trying to figure things out and they always respond super quick and have been very helpful. I also love that your help section has tons of information on it. So far very happy with the software.

Cons

I have a few things that are a little bothersome as i'm learning to use the app that I would love to change, but are not deal breakers. hoping that in time as updates go out these things will get changed. I don't like how some pages you need to save before you click to the next, while other pages save automatically. I find that if im in a hurry I will put in all my findings and compete the longest...

Vendor response

Hi Doc, Thanks for your feedback! We do have a near future update coming for the scheduler and specific to what you have mentioned. You will be pleased with the update :) We also will take your feedback back to our team for the auto-save aspect in reporting. As for the Text reminders, these are industry standard and common format. We will pass along your feedback for intakes, as currently they are designed to work with any computer/tablet. We will also have someone reach out to you regarding your issue with speed. We do not have any reported issues with our server speeds and are hosted on Microsoft Azure. Our average page loading time is 1.6 to 2.2 seconds on average. There may be something related to your internet or system and we'd be happy to help you figure it out :)

Vendor response

Hi Jon, sorry to hear of your experience. We are very candid about our refund policy and once you activate your account & partake in training this portion is non-refundable as we have incurred expenses by this time. The great news is that ChiroFusion is a fraction of what other softwares cost and you are free to cancel at any time. The majority of clients who come to ChiroFusion stay with us as they are most content with our software and this is easily portrayed in the reviews we receive. Not all that

Reviewed 6 years ago

This product initially looks great but once you get in it is slow in the cloud based system. It often needs to be refreshed. There is way to many clicks to get from one page to another. It's hard to see the big picture (calendar) for a particular patient and the reports are incomplete and inaccurate. The financial side of it is a pain in the rear and I am just a private pay office. It's clunky at best and even when on the phone with them and they are going through it with me, often times they are lost and refreshing to figure out why something in particular might not be working. Also, the text reminders still get sent out even when you cancel or reschedule an appointment. It's also quite a bit more than $99. Better to find something else than waste time on this product.

Pros

How it looks and its initial simplicity of the SOAP

Cons

Very clunky. Often needs to be refreshed. Poor and inaccurate reports. Too many clicks. Having to hop from one screen to another to enter financial data and the system crashing. Text reminders still get sent if you cancel or reschedule and appointment. Cant see the big picture on the calendar for future visits. Costs way more than $99 a month and requires a lot of your time.

Vendor response

We're sorry to hear of your unsatisfactory experience, as this is not the norm with our clients. We offer several hours of free training to all clients and it appears that you've only taken advantage of a 40 min. session. Client satisfaction is of utmost importance to us and we were unaware of such an opportunity in your most recent feedback indicating you were doing well and didn't require any assistance....

ChiroFusion Review

Reviewed 5 years ago

I've been using ChiroFusion for a few months. I think they have a great platform, and can improve upon it even further. I would recommend this more to a smaller, one-two doc practice, and in fact I just did, but it becomes pretty expensive when you have multiple practitioners that are all part time. I think they should have a max price per practice if you have more than say 3 practitioners. I really look forward to them hopefully implementing some feature requests that I suggested.

Pros

Easy to use. Easy to learn (at least for doctors), a bit more difficult for front office (billing, etc) Web based, no need to store info in your computer. Access anywhere. Quick response from support team when you have questions. Built in credit card plug in. Ability to do recurring charges for plans if that's what you do.

Cons

-Inability to add/edit things you want, such as, adding an ortho exam if they don't have it. -Lack of feature request implementation: if you want something added to it, not likely going to happen. -Expensive when you have multiple doctors. If you have a doc in your practice coming in 1 or 2xweek, you still have to pay the full price to be able to bill under them. -Apparently, inability to export all your patients data (med history) with a click of a button if you want to leave. You have to click on each pt and export data individually. Imagine if you have 2K+ patients, exporting one by one! -Only good for chiros, no acupuncture built in format. (though you can type your own and paste into forms) -No built in PI report format. -No built in addendum format.

Vendor response

Hi Doc, Thanks for your feedback! We do invite clients to submit recommendations and requests as we implement them every single month :) We also do offer great reductions for multi-provider offices and at 3 providers it's only $49/month more. We've done our homework and we always strive to be the top taco in town ;)

Great EHR/EMR software with user friendly features

Reviewed 3 years ago

We like the ease of use of the software, tutorials are thorough and detailed.

Pros

Our office appreciates the ease of use regarding scheduler to immediate SOAP note functionality. Also e-claims and reporting is understandable.

Cons

Wish there were one-time comment sections for use on SOAP/Exams for commenting on one time episode that would reset for subsequent visits. Also would like virtual "sticky note" on Patient accounting (billing side of software) for staff notes on patients (ie: patient copay is $_, or Deductible is not met - collect for todays visit).

More Bang for the Buck than a Howitzer

Reviewed 7 years ago

I've been in practice for 24 years, and have dabbled in Medisoft and plain old ledger cards. This is by far the best and most efficient way to keep notes, it is super user-friendly, and very intuitive. The customer support is superb, and Maria, who trained me, is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but makes the whole experience a pleasure. The system itself is very through, and I have been asked for notes from insurance companies or by patients who needed them for reimbursement, and I have never had an issue. They are easy to compile and have everything needed to get paid.

Pros

The ease of use and ability to take someone from the moment they walk in the door, through submitting bills, in no time at all. Their exam forms have almost every test and technique you can think of, and if something is not there, you just email them and they do their best to add it into the system asap. The low cost is also a huge plus. I have seen other systems and have friends who use them, and they not only have issues, but are paying an arm and a leg.

Cons

I wish I knew about this many years ago, because it would have made my life and practice so much easier. I'm a sole practitioner, so I do all the intake and billing myself, and this is a snap.

Vendor response

Thanks Doc! One of our primary goals is always ensuring that we meet the needs of all practice types, be it sole practitioners and multi-staff offices. We're excited to see that we've helped you make managing your practice enjoyable & easy.

Chirofusion creates a well rounded and easier to use practice management program

Reviewed 3 years ago
Pros

This software has a built in area to receive electronic EOBs. Our old software did not have this and I must say it's a really nice feature. Usually the billing side of practice management software gets a bit neglected as most software companies look to sell more to the doctor than they do the staff. Chirofusion has a decent billing platform.

Cons

It can be really difficult to figure out what information pulls from what location, for example filling out 1500 forms. Some companies want prior authorization dates listed on the 1500 form while some do not, figuring out where to put some specific info so the form populates correctly can be frustrating.
