That it is Web based, that you can track where people are clocking in, that it is easy to onboard/offboard new employees

I find it harder to make a change to a punch or add a punch if the employee either forgot to punch in or forgot to punch in when they arrived. It seems to mess up the time card if there is no entry by the employee first.

Everyone can see their timesheets, punch-in as needed, but is not able to change their numbers. An administrator can make changes for them, in case someone forgot to punch in (but then the administration can verify it). Punch-ins are done on a computer, and you can check the time the punch was made, as well as the IP it was made from (so people can't punch out from home).

We weren't able to get the Quickbooks Online integration working correctly, however the numbers are still presented in a format where we can just copy and paste the values in. Still very useful.

Tracking of PTO and how easy it is to make a adjustments and corrections if someone misses a punch or forgets to punch in.

I am getting what I need from the system and do not have any cons. The only thing I can think of is I wish I could link it to my payroll company and have the hours go right into my payroll.

I really like the Map feature because I can see where my employees are when they punch in and when they punch out.

When a second punch needs to be entered it opens at the top. I think it would be better if it opens below the existing one.

Simple yet effective tool for a small organization. Punch compliance has improved and very few punch corrections required due to other time clock management systems.

The ability to punch in and out on multiple jobs each day. The punch in map to see that employees are where they are supposed to be.

I can't think of any disadvantages of using this program.

Can be used on single workstations, multi-log-ins or phones. Managers can add/edit punches from their cell phones as well. Tracks departments, jobs and has place for memos as well.

Web display doesn't show punch times, only the total for the day, on cell phone you can see the total for each punch. Would like to see each punch total on the web so that it would be included on the reports that we use for payroll tracking.

Employees being able to punch in from their desk is great, as well as having a stand alone for our warehouse workers who do not have a computer terminal to punch in works perfect.

What we liked the most was how it’s phone app was very simple for our team to use and how it allowed you to see their gps for punch in and punch outs

I wish the website was a little more user friendly. I had to make a few calls into support when I needed to make changes which took time out of my day.

The mobile platform, I love that I have the option for my employees to punch in and out if they are onsite at an appointment.

Sometimes the mobile platform doesn't allow you to punch in or out. It will say it accepted it but later when you go to punch back in it actually punch's you out.

The incredible amount of flexibility it offers is amazing. You can set or restrict punches from specific devices, regions, IP addresses, and similar on a per-employee basis or account-wide, allowing you to make sure that every employee is punching in when and were it's appropriate to do so. It allows a per-employee automatic accrue system for PTO. Approving PTO requests is a breeze as well.

In terms of end-user friendliness, it's a bit rough for non-tech-savvy folks to find the specific website they should log into and punch from - just going to ontheclock.com doesn't actually show anywhere you can log in or punch. This leads to needing to explain specific steps and URLs to users, or sending them a link to click, rather than just telling them to go to the site. It's also a bit of a hassle to reach the Group Punch site where employees can simply enter their employee number to punch in or out, and that could easily be resolved by having an application you could download to turn a desktop into a punch station.

This software was easy for both administration and the personnel to use. For administrators, you can set the punch parameters, run reports, easily make changes/corrections, audit time card changes, set/reset passwords and track punch in locations. Additionally, you can work it from any desired location.

The only drawback is if someone forgets to punch out you don't always know it until you see their hours are cut for that day. When you evaluate the final time cards for payroll, you must pick that up then or you could short someone.

We have 2 locations with several shifts and it make's doing keeping track of my employees and doing payroll super easy and convenient.

OnTheClock just works for simple time tracking activities for employees. The phone app is very simple to use.

We didn't like the interface on the mobile application, it can easily be improved, just looks outdated.

OnTheClock is super easy to use and provides my company with everything we need in a Time Clock. The employees can easily open a link on the computer desktop and clock in or out. Printing the time cards for payroll is also super easy and takes almost no time at all. I love that we use OnTheClock as our time clock of choice!

I don't like that the time cards must be saved to the computer before they can be printed.

Easy to use and set up employees. Keeps records of everything including punch in and out outside of company computers (mobily).

When you delete an employee it deletes all of the information and documentation (it doesn't save).

I like the option to change the times if some one forget to punch out, and that you can use it from your phone.

I think the thing that I like least is when we all the messages pops every time I need to check the weekly hours for the employees.
