I wish I could go back to RUN or upgrade to Workforce Now. ADP 411 still helps me when I call needing advice or information and I'm not even a customer anymore. I have zero complaints about ADP. From the service to the functionality to the design, they have always delivered excellence in my experience.
It's simple enough to navigate even if you haven't used RUN before. The features are organized in a way that makes sense, and if you have any trouble you can always call and someone will help you. The support is hands-down the best "feature" because ADP service is above and beyond what you get elsewhere. The guidance they offer is sound and they do everything they can to seek more informed recommendations if you ever have a grey-area question. They also prepare filings on time and without error.
The only thing I disliked was that we outgrew RUN at my current company and had to upgrade to a solution that suits businesses with 50+ FTE headcount. ADP does offer other platforms that serve a larger scale, so it's not a big deal as long as you upgrade to another ADP product. I would never recommend switching to another provider. It's been a nightmare for me to be forced to work with a new company which I won't name here. You can't even call them a competitor because they do 5% of the work ADP did for me and they charge twice the price.

Overall, my experience with RUN Powered by ADP has been great. They provide good customer service support, especially if you use the Workers' Compensation services.
I've been using ADP for more than two years now. We switched to ADP from Paychex, and I can say it was a smart decision. RUN Powered by ADP is friendly to use. The onboarding process is quick and easy, and the payroll processing feature is complete.
The only thing that I believe ADP could improve is its pricing for extra features. The basic bundle is complete, but if you want to add features (i.e. child support options for employees) you have to switch to higher bundles.

I have worked with ADP for over 4 years now and anytime someone tries to get me to switch to their company, they just do not measure up to ADP Run.
User friendly. Reports at your fingertips and if you cannot find a report just call the customer service line and they will create or walk you through pulling the report. Their customer service team has always been top notch and helpful. For forms for new employees they have it. Need Policy and Procedures for your office they have it. There is a world of resources through this software that you can easily get to by computer or lets say your out of the office and need to run payroll, no problem they have an app for that as well.
I honestly do not have a complaint. The only thing I could suggest is on the Payroll Moblie App it would be helpful if I could make employee changes without having to log in to a computer but definitely not a deal breaker.

I used ADP RUN for about 5 years, but we eventually grew out of it and needed to transition to the Workforce Now platform. I had a lot of bad things to say about RUN previously (report capability, customer service, etc), but compared to WFN I know realize RUN was great! It's very user friendly, you don't even have to be a payroll expert to easily use it.
I'm not a fan of ADP as a company in general. Their customer service is hit or miss, it just depends on who you get on the phone. Some are very knowledgeable, some seem very new or just give contradictory information that you know is incorrect. I believe RUN is best for small companies, maybe <100 employees. We had a 401(k) functionality come up that RUN couldn't support, but if that hadn't come up we'd still be using RUN happily.

The timekeeping integrates perfectly with the payroll. No exporting necessary like Workforce Now. Just "begin payroll" and the hours flow through.
Ease of use, intuitive and able to add modules if the need arises. I also like the how easy ADP has made it to create reports.
If I'm looking at something specific in an employee file, for instance, pay stubs and move to the next employee, it doesn't hold my place on pay stubs like it does in Workforce Now. You have to start over from the employee Home screen and click through again. It's a little thing but in Workforce Now, it would hold my place.

Now that I have a new software which is a dream, thing about ADP just aggravates me.
This was my first attempt with a payroll software so I went with a leading company. I was not happy at all.
I am not sure what I was paying for. I had to do all the work which wasn't easy. Run Payroll could not run accurately on automation. Canceling was a sham. I kept getting charged for things after cancellation.

After almost 20 years of having my CPA handle what ADP is taking care of now, I can truly say that ADP has handled every issue and backed up what they promised with ease. Business is already complicated enough, having ADP handle that aspect of my business has made it easier to focus on other areas.

I find APR Run very easy to use. I can find reports quickly. I can go back and print pay stubs or tax reports. It's easy to add employees and to delete employees. The few times that I needed support, a human being answered the phone and talked me through the problem.
ADP Run is intuitive. I rarely need to ask for support.
I can't sign in directly to ADP Run, I have to choose through a few ADP options first.

ADP stinks.
Eddie was very helpful. Got us all signed up and good to go. But ADP doesn't talk to one another so we kept getting requests for our UBI # every week and said they would charge us if we didn't get it to them. Very disorganized company that probably won't post this review.
ADP does not communicate in-house. They send you paperwork that you don't ask for, bill you for things that you don't ask for, and don't process payroll correctly. I had to hire a bookkeeper to come in and fix it all.

I have been using ADP RUN for about 3 years after transitioning from ADP Easy Pay and I must say that I love the functionality of the new software! The process for entering payroll is very simple and user friendly, and it is just as easy to change deductions and create special payroll checks if needed. In addition, there is now an app for your mobile device for ADP RUN so that I can enter payroll while I am away from the office if needed! This is my favorite feature of ADP RUN! Please switch to ADP RUN if your organization meets the criteria!

Overall, ADP is the perfect fit for our catering company. It provides us with exactly what we need for payroll processing as well as the added bonus of convenient communication with employees. Not to mention their lighting fast, secure delivery of our payroll checks overnight to our door step.
I really enjoy the multiple options ADP offers for employees. From an administrative side, we have many different positions that incur their own payscale and ADP allows us the flexibility to customize each employees information. With multiple event pay rates available, we can easily choose which rate is appropriate for the shift completed. Setting up employees is beyond easy and we have the ablilty to have W2 employees and 1099 employees separated yet all accessed in one convenient location come payroll time. Editing existing employees is just as easy and setting them up. From an Employee stand point, I receive detailed information from each pay period and I am able to access any of my information, including past pay stubs, at my finger tips with their convenient employee portal.
The only thing I can say we wish ADP offered was integration with our Catering Software. As convenient as ADP is to us, we still have to pull pay information from another program and enter it into ADP. If ADP integrated with our software, that would eliminate the extra step and help us even more.

I absolutely loved ADP and the style of the website for running payroll. It was extremely easy to navigate and compared to Paychex (which is so confusing and I miss them) . The customer service is also amazing if you ever had any trouble navigating.
I cant say there are any cons to RUN ADP. But ADP as a company in general is a little pricier than other payroll companies.

Again this review is for ADP Canada vs ADP U.S. but in short: If you find another option, go with another option.
Once I had run payroll a few times it's easy enough to use. I don't use their HR support or anything but calculating payroll is straightforward. It's great that the tax totals are calculated automatically and they file year-end paperwork for you.
I'll state that this review is for ADP Canada (vs ADP U.S.) I'm with a very small U.S. based nonprofit with just just a couple employees in Canada, and switched to ADP from calculating taxes manually. Using ADP is the lesser of two evils but it hasn't been a great experience. I run payroll semi-monthly and once, for no apparent reason (their rep couldn't explain why it happened) they initiated the second half of the month's payrun at the same time as the first, and charged us a $150 fee to do so, which they never refunded. Their chat support is helpful but if it's "unavailable" you have to call and it's always a 1-2 hour wait. You can request a call back but any time I do that they never actually call me back. The interface is also pretty low-tech.

We have clients on ADP payroll and logging into Run is easy and quick when trying to pull reports. The local ADP reps are also great.
If you need a full service payroll this is a great choice. There are less expensive options if you just need straight forward payroll.

We used Run by ADP for our first year of payroll. ADP is great for setup but it's very expensive for very small businesses.
This product is very clean code. You can tell it was written from scratch not adapted from other software. As a result, it's fast and simple and straightforward. Also, the uptime is excellent. Never once has it been down when needed.

Just avoid them. Go with Gusto, so much easier, cleaner, cheaper and more transparent.
ADP Run is easy to use, which is great.
The price is ridiculously expensive. They lure you in with a "cheap rate" however they "forget" to tell you about all of the additional fees. The reporting is terrible. If you truly need to go deep into the woods to research something, it takes forever. Basically you need to retrieve every paycheck to find your answer.

There are far superior products in the market place. Run away from ADP!
If you a simple demands and nothing complex or difficult the software may work for your company. The product is not intuitive nor is it user friendly.
Clearly this product was not designed by Users - it reeks of being over engineered by Engineers. If your company has different payrolls running at the same time or exceptions based different levels of employees with different benefits offered, I have one bit of advice find another HRIS vendor. Many time the Customer Service team or Implementation teams of ADP can't come up with solutions. Once ADP has implemented the software - their support decreases and solutions are minimal. You have to threaten to fire them before you get some help.

The reports are endless and the software is advanced and easy to use.
Our previous payroll company was bought out by ADP. Our ADP rep was very informative. ADP made the transition seamless and honored the price we had with the other company.
No negatives just took time getting used to. a new software system. Perhaps making a time attendance module as part of the base package would be nice.

ADP keeps all of our time, supplies us with time run reports, hours worked for specific projects and notes for over 500 employees. ADP helps us with accountability as well as organization.
ADP is very simple to use. Navigation is simple and straight to the point.
I feel as though they could upgrade a little more to make for easier search when finding an employee via the administrator portal.

I have been working with WFN for over 3 years as our Payroll Manager. Over 25 years in Accounting/Payroll.
Overall, very through HR/payroll system. Great support and training by ADP.
I do not like the fact that when I terminate an employee along with their benefits, it voids their deductions. If this is during a pay period, I would have to manually enter the deductions for the last paycheck. In order to avoid manual input, I have to wait until after the next pay period to terminated them. This does not give me an accurate headcount.

I pretty much only sort applicants however was present during upgrades and am privy to the struggles other areas are having with regard to performance management and analytical data.
Easy to use for most part, especially in regard to applicant tracking.
Difficult to connect with customer service. System upgrades felt unsupported by ADP staff.

My experience overall is highly satisfactory. We rely on ADP's assistance for Time & Attendance/HR&Benefits/Payroll. We do not have an HR or Payroll department. I rely heavily on your customer service for all of our questions.
If updated properly, I like having all information at my fingertips.
I don't really have any dislikes...if I run across something I need assistance with I call ADP support.

It was great app which I ever used for payroll management.
My Payroll was taken care by simple App by ADP. It was consistent and easy to use.

There aren't any cons to report with ADP. The software is simple and trusted by many so you know you're getting a great product with ADP services!
