I have seen this used at my son's school and found it works great for the office too. Nice backgrounds to make it fun.
Overall SignUpGenius has been amazing to use and signing up through this platform is flawless.
I liked the ease of use and the ability to add or edit without starting over. I also liked being able to choose whether or not participants can see others who have signed up.
Pros
I like how accessible customer service is, and I like that the schedules are easy to set up so I can see where I most need volunteers.
We also love the ease with which Timecounts allows us to communicate with our volunteers; as groups an on a more personal level. One year in and we have renewed our subscription.
Volunteers can select their own shifts with Timecounts, which is awesome, and it ties into our web site nicely with embeddable forms.
Cons
It is a bit difficult to cancel once you have signed up. You have to email the administrator and have them cancel it for you.
My only problem was when logging in, I had to enter my account and password and that usually drove me crazy because I could never remember it.
I did have some problems exporting to an excel sheet and having signupgenius cut off some of the emails so that they are not correct in the sheet.
Cons
It seemed to be difficult for my volunteers to use.
Limited functionality because the company is just getting started - e.g. can't yet sync with Salesforce, but these are things the company is working on.
There is no mobile app or even mobile-first web-app to log into.
