The software is not user friendly at all and is very hard to search for and look up medical and test results,  unable to delete patients when there are duplicates, not easy to enter a new breed or characteristic of patients,  updating patients weight requires lots of unnecessary steps and linking records from other hospitals can be extremely time consuming.

While it has the capabilities do everything you need that is necessary, it is extremely slow when performing those functions. When running inventory reports, I once was running different reports on 7 computers because it was taking about 15-30 minutes for each report. If I had only been using one computer, I would have never gotten what I needed to do done.

It was a good product for awhile, but ultimately couldn’t compare to other cloud based PIMS as our practice grew.

The customer support has always been absolutely phenomenal and efficient.

Avimark was nice as it had short hand codes that you could use to get to different areas within the program and also to check clients out.

I will continue to use this program for the life of my practice.

We are able to keep track of all clients and patients in an orderly manner.

I only wish there were periodic email reminders, such as "Hey, have you tried this Hotkey/Shortcut idea?"

You can scan and attach outside documents and easily print certificates and records.

Some very obvious defects: When you change  a date in 1 patient's file, every other code for the rest of the day goes under that previous date - should default to current date when you switch to another patient's file. When one doctor is working on a patient & we go to another terminal, we have to select the doctor again - should default to the doctor who had already entered items that day .

Everything can be done in Avimark - treatment, billing, appointments, etc.

Integration between Zoetis Labs is a nightmare, and pretty much any product that is not manufactured by Covetrus.

I liked that this software turns a paper-heavy practice in a paper-light or paperless one (great for the environment!).  

Idexx promised that with switching to Cornerstone that all of our inventory issues would be fixed and they were not at all.  

I love the online pharmacy and the fact that they try to match the prices of other online pharmacies.

There are a few features that have glitches that affect inventory, such as invoices that randomly do not post/close out.

I think it is user friendly and easy for new staff to learn.    

Much easier to use than other veterinary platforms!

Inventory module was a bit clunky with certain features.

There's no check in and check out color feature that allows you to see checked in/out patients without clicking on them.

We had to use an outside app for reminders.  

Overall this is a satisfactory product that does what I need it to do, albeit difficult to navigate in some areas.

All other options for help do not function.   Because help does not work there are changes we can not make because you have to have a software service agreement in order to ask ANY questions to Avimark.

Not cloud based, my current hospital needed to access software while in mobile calls so we had to go with a different software.

The phone number thing is really silly because it only looks up the client by the main number or work number but not cell numbers.

In addition, we implemented AVImark originally for the improvement of our inventory, and set up an entire system with barcode.   Although you can sell product like a typical point-of-sale system with the barcode scanner, on the Receiving-end you cannot receive inventory by utilizing a barcode, which still leaves room for errors.

Scheduling appointments is very easy and it also allows you to connect instant messaging and memos directly to a client's chart and send to whomever in a split second so you don't have to run around the clinic etc.

So in short, easy to use given everything is working correctly however customer service DOES NOT resolve the issues they claim to and apparently even if you do a "free trial" of any features, you're still going to get charged and then it's going to take MONTHS of back and forth to get the charges removed. And there is still no guarantee that they have been.
