I found it fairly easy to use. Oftentimes we had difficulty getting ahold of customer service.
Easy to find things in the software. Easily to update things

I like Avimark very much. Has been a great transition from Intravet.
Simple to use, especially going paperless. The ability to print a requisition by applying a charge to account.
I wish you could E-Mail an estimate from the system. It would also be nice if you could hover over an appointment and see type of pet, weight, age, ect. I hope the disconnect between Avimark and Care Credit it resolved soon, Has a glitch every time you print a Care Credit Receipt.

Calling in to regular tech support (for which I pay a monthly fee) is rarely rewarding. They only have the pat answers and protocols that they know to do for different error codes. I do have a relationship with one of the senior technicians and try to schedule with her to actually troubleshoot our problems.
I can take a version into the field, then bring it back to sync with the server. I run a housecall practice.
The mobile (Sidekick) feature appears to be an afterthought. It is not well designed and there are numerous glitches with trying to get it to be as robust a program as we need. I have spoken with higher level technicians about this and they agree that the features we need would be great to have, but they don't yet exist and they put in requests for software updates, but I have no reason to expect that these will ever actually happen.

We're generally satisfied with avimark. Relatively intuitive, but not flexible. Would recommend, but I would prefer if there was a better product available on the market.
Transitioning to Avimark from a payroll system was good, we were able to get the data transferred and see what it looked like before making the change. 3 years ago we transitioned from paper files to a "paper-lite" system and generally we're pleased. I wouldn't say I know of a better system available.
It is a system that is bloated and relatively non-flexible. You need to conform to it. Generally you get what you want and it works, but if it doesn't work, they won't change to software to meet you. Case in point - our pharmacy labels don't print the correct weight for the patient. Avimark is aware of the problem, but cannot fix it.

Very easy to use, very easy to implement and teach. Great value for the money and good support.
I love how responsive the developers are to suggestions for improvements. Support is awesome, and support hours are good - basically, they are there when we need them. Pricing is very fair and I like that we can install the software on multiple laptops without having to involve tech support.
There are a couple of little glitches that I wish we could work around. If there is a requisition that doesn't go through to the diagnostic lab we need to delete the charges and enter them again, there doesn't seem to be a way to "Resubmit"
