What is Digi Clip Mobile Forms?

DIGI CLIP is a highly configurable web and mobile app which allows users to create, distribute, complete, and submit custom checklists and inspections. Android and iOS apps allow field workers, transport operators and others to complete, submit, communicate and archive checklists and inspections. DIGI CLIP is suited to a range of industries including transport and logistics, manufacturing, construction, engineering, mining and utilities.

With DIGI CLIP, users can create custom checklists and inspections with a range of field types, including text response fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, and drop-down lists. Signatures can be captured electronically, and submitted checklists and inspections are automatically geo and time stamped. Fields can be automatically populated, including time, date, user details, and address. Build your own forms from scratch or DIGI CLIP has a Form Library where you can add your checklists and inspections directly to your account. All checklists & inspections are editable to meet your needs.

The app has a built-in draft cache that allows users to fully or partially complete forms and store them to be submitted later. The app is native that allows forms to be completed offline and submitted at a later time. Automated emails alert everyone that needs to know once a form has been submitted or if there is a failed list item that requires attention. Submitted forms are archived in the Form Register where they can be accessed and down loaded in PDF if required. The Form Register has a full search function for ease of form retrieval.

Digi Clip mobile forms provides a seamless, reliable and easy recording of many aspects of safety procedures. With a mobile and portable workforce, ideal to ensure compliance to many aspects of safety systems. The 'App' is user friendly, with easy recovery of required documents no matter your digital expertise!

Cons
It wasn't available much earlier and a lot of (poor) Administrative work could have been avoided.

Pros
The Digiclip app enables staff to report incidents, hazards and workplace inspections anywhere on our vast site through their portable devices, which also alleviates the need for a paper trail. It also can create forms in which to fill in e.g such as safety checklists

Cons
sometimes when working within the software application there can be some minimal software glitches which causes the odd issue when submitting forms.

Pros
I like the easy to use interface, both via the app and the desktop log in. It is easy to create new users and deactivate users. Able to check via the forms who is using the app and its features regularly and who needs more training.

Cons
It is hard to find deactivated users quickly, have to go through all the users to find the one specific person/ user you are looking for.

We benefited from Digi Clip in how we capture, store and communicate information. Digi Clip has made it possible to reduce the costs associated with paper and printing.

Pros
Digi Clip is a highly configurable mobile form platform that allows us to do away with much of our paper based forms and checklists. The software is highly configurable and allows us to update or edit our from templates, in the cloud based software, and the templates are updated in the app in real time allowing for our employees in the field to have the latest form templates. Digi Clip is also happy to work with us to provide solutions that are specific to our organizational needs. Digi Clip has improved our efficiencies in how we capture and communicate information, and reduced our paper and printing costs.

Cons
When we started using Digi Clip we had to author each form template from scratch. This was a time consuming task. However Digi Clip has allowed its users to copy form fields into new forms saving us time when authoring new forms.

To provide this form that was previously a hard copy and filing format provides quickness of preparation and storage saving time and money.

Pros
The DIGI form software is extremely easy to use and quick to utilise documents.

Cons
I personally have not found any problem with this software usage at this point.
