ETS overview

ETS from Occam Networks is a voice, IVR & customer experience testing suite which records & analyses replicated real-world calls to identify & rectify faults in real-time.

The platform allows business to be agile in the way in which they service their customer base via their IVR. ETS replicates real-world calls, monitoring and analysing the outcome of each call and reporting errors to ensure that customers are receiving the service and experience that they should be.

Users can check system capacity with ETS' load test feature; deploy new iterations to their voice infrastructure using the functional testing option; and then proactively monitor service and be alerted by ETS if something goes wrong.

Using ETS we've been able to solve a few ongoing issues with capacity from our suppliers. When load testing with ETS we discovered that we were not being provided with the capacity that had been sold to us. Once we we showed the results to our suppliers this was quickly rectified and we then tested again using ETS and were happy with the results. Also we are now monitoring our inbound revenue generating numbers to ensure that they are available and if there are any problems ETS alerts us before our customers have issues and it affects our revenue.It's really easy to use, it's not just for highly technical staff. Their approach to pricing allows us to use our own people for testing rather than pay for consultancy we don't require and we can test as much as we like without getting hit with additional costs.

ETS' unlimited use and pricing model gives users the freedom to test their system as often as required.

Users can edit tests to reflect a future state. As changes are made to the system, they can be tested before being launching into production.

If an error is detected, ETC informs users where the problem is so it can be rectified and the system tested again.
