FreeConference is a conference calling service and provider that offers a complete set of free audio and web conferencing features for setting up conferences with groups of any size, anywhere, any time. FreeConference serves a range of businesses, individuals, communities and organizations around the world such as start ups, small and medium businesses, NFP organizations, churches, consultants, and life coaches, that rely on VoIP for their calls.
FreeConference’s main features include free teleconferencing, download-free video, screen sharing, and web conferencing capabilities. Users can conference by phone or web via desktop or mobile device, meet face-to-face with free video chat, and share screens or documents from the online meeting room. Users can schedule meetings in advance and send invitations and reminders automatically.
Anyone can join a conference call from their web browser by simply sharing the unique URL provided by FreeConference. All conferences can be recorded and shared with anyone who had missed a meeting, or saved and played back for people who want to review what was said. FreeConference’s moderator controls help to keep meetings on topic and productive, offering a conversation mode, Q&A mode, and presentation mode for ‘listen only’ meetings.
Detailed call summaries are provided after each meeting that include all participants caller ID’s, join and exit times, and a full transcript of all text from any chats, if the chat feature was enabled. Other features include, personalized greetings, Google calendar sync, recurring calls, pin-less entry, and SMS notifications. FreeConference also provides users with free international dial-in numbers for 20 different countries, and a transcription service for keeping accurate meeting notes.
