What i dislike is we can add only maximum 100 participants and after completing trial version pricing are very high. It lags while video conferencing and audio syncing problem is also there sometime.

Overall the GotoMeeting is a great way to connect to your team overcoming its competition of Microsoft Teams and Skype and Zoom meetings. It is affordable and provides value of money invested.

Pros

Accessiblity is a plus. Can be used on phone using app and dial in phone numbers. The features are minimalistic and UI is very user friendly does not ever cause confusion.

Cons

The screen sharing feature can be improved on slower networks and meeting admissions can be increased in the number of members.

I have had a great experience with it. No problems at all and no need to ever use their customer service.

Pros

I absolutely love GoToMeeting! I was first introduced to it through a vendor we used years ago. They sent me a link for a meeting and I joined in. I had only used Zoom so this was new to me. I immediately was hooked. It’s so easy to use. I find it way more user friendly than Zoom Meetings. I love it!

Cons

I can’t think of anything that I disliked about it. It truly is so easy to use. No manual needed. Anyone can figure it out!

It is a web hosted service by using go-to meeting software we can share your screen, video conversation, audio conversation etc. It is more likely zoom meeting software but the best part of this software we can easily connect to other in a quick time and also connect with multiple participate. We can also saved the meeting, saved the data and send the data to client. You can easily connect through meeting ID And by using URL.

Cons

The only cons I have the bandwidth issue, sometimes it's happens when we connect with multiple participant the audio quality get lower.

I love using GoToMeeting for my team meetings. It's reliable and easy to use. We have tested out other meeting solutions including Zoom, but none compare to the ease of use found with GTM. Zoom meetings, for instance, have a much different interface, and very little is intuitive about the dashboard. Conversely, GoToMeeting's dashboard is easy to understand and follow. You can also easily change your user name within a meeting, so if you are on an informal meeting with team members you might just list your first name, whereas for a client meeting you can list your full name, title, etc.

Pros

Our organization has used GoToMeeting for many years. It is a solution that enables individuals to connect via a url to a virtual meeting. Cons

You have to make sure to switch your audio depending on how you join the meeting. If you join by phone but forget to switch your GoToMeeting dashboard setting to phone audio, you (and others) will hear a loud, ongoing each until you make this switch. Ideally GoToMeeting would recognize the source from which you are joining (phone or computer audio) but since it does not do this, it's best to get into the habit of switching this manually to avoid the loud echo.

Zoom is easy to setup, implement and use. The Financial Services company I was working for most recently had a dispersed domestic workforce (both pre-and-post pandemic) and Zoom provided a platform for a more meaningful employee onboarding and training experience versus the phone.

Cons

The software would occasionally go down, but is much more reliable than similar products (ex. google hangouts, gotomeeting, etc).

Perfect for small business

Huge cost savings for small businesses with a low budget.

Pros

We switched to Zoom from GoToMeeting. Mostly because our team was growing so quickly we wanted to see if there was a cheaper solution. We made the switch and it does everything we need. The screen share quality is very good. I have not reached out to their support one time. So I assume it is good because there is never an issue.

Cons

I do wish there were more integrations with the other software we use like GoToMeeting did but we still like it regardless.

Overall, Zoom has been relatively simpler to use as compared to the competition including CISCO WebEx and GotoMeeting.

Less dropped calls and weird feedback than other video conferencing tools I've used in the past.

Pros

The ease of use for clients. GoToMeeting can be somewhat cumbersome for some clients and I prefer the UI much more to GTM.

Cons

The basic plan is less than ideal if you have meetings longer than 30 minutes.

Overall zoom was really easy to deploy to our users and they felt comfortable using the software within a short period of time, which was especially helpful during the pandemic.

Pros

Having used plenty of different software offerings in the past such as WebEx and GoToMeeting, it's really incredible just how easy Zoom is to use.

Cons

My issue with the zoom has been their security troubles over the past year or so, such as routing data through other countries and lying about end-to-end encryption.

Pros

Zoom is very easy to use and I really love that you can have a background if you are in a setting where you don't want others to see what's behind you.

My experience with Zoom Meetings and Chat has been great. It's quickly become one of our team's most valuable collaboration tools. It feels like a shared meeting platform that's truly collaborative. Instead of one person starting and running a meeting, we can each step in and lead on-the-fly, naturally. So far, this platform feels more like your team being in the same room together than other professional meeting platforms.

Pros

It's easy to start and join meetings -- both for internal teams and external clients. Just send a link and anyone can participate. This is a very intuitive alternative to platforms like Skype, Join.me and GoToMeeting. And our team's experience is that it's more reliable than Skype. Cons

If you are presenting on Zoom you have to keep your eye on the screen to see if you have chat messages waiting, but that is the same with GoToMeeting. The chat alert is definitely more visible than in GoToMeeting, and it feels more natural and less distracting to open and respond to the chat in Zoom. Basically, Zoom has done a great job with the meeting controls to keep everything very simple and visible.
