The only thing I have issues with sometimes is when I am texting a customer without saving their contact yet, when I save them as a contact it will remove all the previous chats and call log.

There is not an out if you are oversold licensing by their sales team. If you are oversold licenses by their sales team, they will try to ping you with an early removal fee. Upon seeing this we went rounds and rounds with account managers to get the extra licensing we were told we needed by the sales team removed.

More on that later.   While Nextiva's technical support was great, good luck if you ever need customer support for billing or contract issues.   When I was finally fed up with the prices Nextiva was charging, I went back through my contract and noticed that Nextiva did not honor their end of the bargain.   When I called up customer service to end my contract, the customer service agents tried to weasel their way out of it, trying to explain one thing that they meant, but clearly wasn't literally written into the contract.

The Updates as they are setup with my company require an Admin to login in and accept the updates; if the updates aren't applied the connectivity to Nextiva doesn't work properly; you can't hear others on the phone; need to restart & update in order for the service to work properly.

The biggest benefit for me personally (in my position of Quality Assurance) is the availability to monitor what everyone is doing across our 15 locations using the Nextiva  App, reporting and supervisor dashboard.

Routine tasks — sending a multi-page fax, copying a configuration — turn into multi-hour or multi-day ordeals. If your workflow depends on faxing or on managing your own phone configuration, look elsewhere before you commit.

The ability to call customers from the app where my personal cell phone number will not show up.

We are based in California, and when we filed a case locally (where the agreement was signed), Nextiva had it dismissed and insisted that we proceed in Arizona instead.

I explained that I was sold the account with the understanding that all 5 of my phone numbers could use SMS at the same time.

However, despite this, Nextiva continued charging our credit card for five additional months, totaling $16,532.65, without our authorization.

I contacted support (each time I spent time with the AI agent and frustrated, would give up, ask for a live agent and be on hold for some time.

Literally 20+ emails to close my account and they still charged my credit.card the momth after i closed my account.

Get us to verifying pin, company name, and owners name you'll have to provide this a minimum of 3 times to speak to someone.

However, despite this, Nextiva continued charging our credit card for five additional months, without our authorization.

Our phone numbers were successfully ported, and Nextiva stopped providing any services.

The concept is great and being able to customize a phone service is exactly what a growing business needs.

The offboarding and dispute process has been extremely difficult.
