Faxes can be sent and received through the Nextiva vFAX online portal, via email, or using a fax machine.


How do I forward calls on Nextiva?

Nextiva offers multiple call forwarding methods: Call Forward Always, Call Forward Selective, Call Forward When Busy, and Call Forward When Unanswered, can all be enabled and managed through the Forwarding settings under Voice Settings in the User Actions section. Call Forward When Unreachable can be enabled through the Phone Number under Voice Settings, and Location Forwarding is managed through the Locations section of the Phone System settings.


How do I setup the Nextiva phone system?

Log into the Nextiva admin dashboard, add users, transfer phone numbers, define business hours, set up team extensions, create call flows, set up call routing, forwarding, and recording if needed, record and add custom greetings, and download the Nextiva softphone app.


Is Nextiva fax HIPAA compliant?

Nextiva vFAX offers a HIPAA compliant service, though this removes some functionality for users to maintain compliance. To be HIPAA compliant, users cannot send faxes via email, receive faxes as email attachments, download faxes, or forward faxes via email.

Pros
Overall we're happy that we purchase this camera. It is budget friendly for office like us and it give high quality video and sound.
The Nextiva app is Awesome Works great. We switched to Nextiva because they offered a better price.
The quality of service is unmatched. The app is super easy to use, and keeps me organized.
Cons
With this phone service I get many "dead line" calls and spam calls. There is no filter I have found to prevent.
Poor call quality has also likely contributed to irreparable damage to our brand as customer calls are so frequently dropped or missed due to Nextiva’s problematic online platform and phone app.
Just before the porting they misinformed me about the date and and time and the porting was done without my knowledge. First week of the Nextiva phone service was terrible.

Nextiva customer support has been amazing anything I've needed anything. They've quickly be able to help and are super friendly

Pros

Interface is very customizable in the way that I need it

Cons

Some of the important features aren't as intuitive to get to. Have someone in your company go into the interface and give them a list of things to find and get fed back through that. When you build an application, it's easy to lose sight of new user experience.

Not a very good one. We have been making it work but are very dissatisfied. It's just not a fit for us and our practice.

Pros

That we could attach notes to our calls.

Cons

That agents cannot see the calls in queue. They only see a number

Best Customer Service in the VOIP Business!

Overall, the experience with Nextiva has been great. It has improved the efficiency and professionalism of our business.

Pros

Nextiva's customer service team is truly unmatched. We made the switch from AT&T after 30-years and have been so impressed with everyone we've dealt with at Nextiva.

Cons

The onboarding process could use some improvements as it is quite overwhelming for someone who does not work in the VOIP business.

Nextiva has provided my business with exceptional calling experience for not just staff but clients as well. No echo, No frequent dropped calls. Its been absolutely great!
