We chose RingCentral specifically for SMS/texting to support customer communication as a licensed independent insurance agency, and we were clear about our business model and use case before signing the contract.

One thing that stand out to me about using ringEX is the ability to see the number of calls made, also the ability to disposition each call, letting me know if I didn’t get ahold of the person.

On multiple occasions, we had to follow up 2–3 times to receive a response, including from our assigned account representative, and have submitted technical questions that went unanswered and are still unanswered.

After onboarding, we were then told by multiple representatives across different departments that our business model was categorically disallowed for 10DLC and that there was no viable path to approval.

As a result, for a time, we were forced into RingCentral Meetings which has been regularly awful as far as video quality and issues.

We are currenly using Ringcentral to manage outbound and inbound calls along with text messages, our admin was able to setup call queues that are used for different sources of leads, we can shadow other rep calls and it now has an option for automated notes from live calls.

At no point during the sales process were we informed of any limitation or risk that our business type might not be eligible for 10DLC approval.

The initial rollout and setup process can be challenging, especially when transitioning from older phone systems.

My personal experience with RingEx on my work computer is that I noticed some Lag in my calls, that was a consistent issue with ringEX on my work Computer.
