What is SAFE?
SAFE, by Tracker Products, is a cloud-based evidence management solution designed to help police departments, state highway patrols, law firms, forensic labs, and other organizations manage the collection, processing, and storage of information. The platform enables users to track physical as well as digital assets via barcode scanning, e-signatures, and customizable dashboards.
SAFE's unbreakable chain of custody functionality allows institutions to track the movement, transfer, and storage of all items of evidence in their inventory. SAFE’s key features include role-based permissions, concurrent licensing, data import, barcode labeling, and SAML-based authentication.
SAFE comes with an auto-disposition module, which allows users to define follow-up dates for cases. Users can also automate notifications for upcoming review dates, information modifications, officers' responses, and outcomes. SAFE’s dashboard enables users to add customizable widgets for accelerated data searches. The built-in search functionality lets organizations create custom rules for filtering information and export results to Excel files. SAFE offers native mobile applications for Android and iOS devices.
