Pros

I loved the finish of the design, and the fact that they had the gridlines to guide placement. Alignment of the shapes were so easy, and loved how customizable it was.
Very easy to use with excellent collaborative features. Nice bright and modern UI.
Auto Save option which makes you focus only on the business diagram. Amazing customer support.

Pros

Visio has great Product functionality when compared to other software and also it has a very good & strong user community who we can reach out when in need.
Overall I'm glad to have spent the time to learn it and enjoy using Visio very much. It's been very helpful and useful for my day-to-day responsibilities at work.
This program is awesome for developing organizational chart. I love it because it makes it super easy for you to do it as well.

Cons

Lack of features advertised would be included. Lack of tutorials in the software.
Sometimes the lines between connections didn’t land where I wanted them or changed shape and that was frustrating.
Occasionally, when I'd try to "tweak" a little place on my project it would mess up the whole thing.

Cons

More than once I had to make the same changes to a diagram cause I misplaced or lost an updated version. That is my biggest pain with visio, and is ultimately why I switched to Lucid Chart.
Formatting is the biggest challenge, especially when you have large projects it is difficult to view all and you loose track.
Using auto-arrange features can result in errors such as wrong diagram arrangement.

Great start, but Pletica is better even if it’s more expensive.

Pros

Easy to use and smart saas tool. Replaced visio and other flowchart tools for me.

Cons

Every time I login it forces me to open a new doc before I can get to a doc I already created.

I am using Creately to create UML diagrams and network diagrams.

Pros

Creately is awesome! It allows you to create various UML graphs in a fraction of the time of Visio or other tools.

Cons

No complaints! Creately has filled all of the needs I have.

Just what we need

We found the perfect solution to our business because before Creately we used Microsoft Visio (which is so complicated to use). Also, the learning curve (how to use it) it's really good.

Pros

* It's very easy to develop a diagram chart from the scratch * Import SVG and Google images

Cons

* Sometimes it's really difficult to import a SVG file

Overall, my experience is very positive. It is very colorful and is very good for kids but also good for business applications

Pros

Creately is very intuitive. The important features are Drag and Drop, it is easy to represent the relationships between different concepts and create hierarchies. Also very good for flowcharts, diagrams and organizational structures. It is visually appealing and more colorful compared with say Visio. It integrates well with other applications

Cons

I did not experience any issues. It does not have a free version as far as I know

I use them to make as-is and to-be process flows, sipoc diagrams, architecture diagrams.

Pros

It is very easy to use and I like how intuitive it is. I like the feature set and the canned templates. I use it for professional diagrams and to make process flows and I find it way easier than visio and it also allows for collaboration which I love.

Cons

Could expand on the template set. As of now I have not not found what I need, but from my experience with other similar tools, I feel there could be more templates.

As a heavy Visio user I was bit reluctant to try this but was pleasantly surprised. The monthly fee is fair and the desktop price is extremely good when you consider that Visio costs around 300$. Love the usability of the interface. The diagramming area is large and far less cluttered.
