Simple Ping overview
What is Simple Ping?
Simple Ping is straightforward, low-noise uptime monitoring for websites, web applications, TCP ports, and private systems. Checks run every minute and can require consecutive failures before a service is considered down, helping reduce false positives. Alerts include the checker name, target, status, and recorded failure details.
Monitor page availability and expected text, test TCP ports, or use heartbeat URLs for cron jobs and servers behind a firewall or VPN. Organize checkers into groups, review outage and recovery history, annotate incidents, and export checker data and history to Excel.
Simple Ping also includes repeated email alerts, bulk import, a JSON API, public uptime badges, passwordless email-code and passkey login, English and French interfaces, multiple color themes, and dark mode. Plans cost $5 USD per month for up to 100 checkers after a three-month free trial. No credit card is required to start.
